The amusing thing is that we all hear something different. 
For years I thought that Qookie was saying "Hey are you stupid" when you started with her in "Return to Wonderland", and that Peegue was saying "will you please please help me." And no I'm not deaf

To me it sounds like either "Plah" or "Blah" after experimenting with the sound in Audacity.
