If you ask me - and this is my personal opinion - I think he was trying to spam under another guise to get everyone's attention off of him.

I didn't think that either. ^_^ is definitely Dutch and he also speaks Dutch. EEE posted mostly when it's in the middle of the night in the NL, and also about the storm in the Caribbean, and I don't think someone of that age would make a play of such things.

I see. Yes, that's what lots of people usually do, if other people tell them that they do something wrong: "But he / she / other people did the same!" or "he/she began!". If you're bad; try to find someone who's worse.

But not really. Everyone is responsible for his/her own actions, independent on what other people do.

People use same IPs from time to time, or it was his friend he didn't know about, or his sister he didn't know about, or it was himself.

I think that's very unbelievable, let's say 99,9%, though not 100% impossible. If it's true, then he should send Patrick an email with a very good explanation, and hope that Patrick will believe him.

Yes, as long as your internet thing's connection is hot far away.

I think you mean your wireless internet modem / router, right? If you are in your neighbour's house, you still can receive your own modem, if the houses are close to each other.

But that's not what I mean. I mean if you plug in your computer into your neighbour's internet connection, or with someone who lives 1 or 2 kilometers away. (so not wireless internet) Because I think your neighbour can't have the same IP address as you have.

I don't know much on this topic, but i think it has something to do with stuff like 'port 40000'.

I didn't base this information on IP alone. There were other clues, and in the end eee admitted to it.

That doesn't make sense to me if he would have done that. It seems he only wanted to get attention on the forum, but sending Patrick a PM about it wouldn't have been smart, or he may have never heard about IP addresses, and that the ADM of a forum can see anyone's IP address.

I think Patrick is talking about after he banned EEE, that they had an email conversation.

Some of Laman's posts I don't understand. Other than these four (1 2 3 4), I don't understand why he or she posted all his or her other posts.

I think eee wanted to prove he was agenst spam, so he spamed as laman and complained as eee.

I see. I didn't give you an answer though, because I don't know either. I only said that I don't understand post 3, while you apparently do understand. (Because you said: "Other than these four" I guess you do understand those four)
