Not for sure. Wonderland could be running out of natural resources so Wee Stinkers are the best(and nearly only) source of food and they don't want the Wee Stinkers to experience such a time.

No no no, you guys got it wrong.

Wee Stinkers are tired of being bossed around by their parents, so they start a mutiny and feast on the dead. The remaining survivors (us) hide in a really huge bomb shelter and we are currently reviving most of the dead. That's why we are on this forum.
