I don't get to play games like these (Minecraft etc) Mom says I can't play those evil games, she says it devilish .

Minecraft is devilish?
I played it when I was 8 and it didnt exactly seem Devilish.
No blood, No swearing, (Well, maybe on multiplayer.) And the only scary thing is endermen, or creepers coming out of nowhere and hugging you.

I do play team fortress but I pay no attention to the blood.

Minecraft isn't devilish, it's just surviving or building. Maybe the mobs and caving is the reason your mom thinks it's 'devilish'.

Heck, the only slightly scary thing in MC is when there's a Enderbuddy about to smack you to death. There's a reason Peaceful Mode is there.

But it's not for that.

But it still gets rid of Enderbuddies.

Personally, I don't find Endermen scary at all. There's certainly an "uh-oh" moment if you stare at one by mistake and he gets angry, but honestly...

What scares me more has to be when I'm walking around a cave, turn around a corner, and -- *TWANG* There's a Skeleton hiding nearby.

Or Creepers hissing at you from behind, but that's a different story.

I had a large house right by a cave, I had 3 TNT, so I went into the cave and 2 creepers fell right on me.

I'm shocked they didn't explode on normal mode.

I like creative mode because you can hug creeper's and make friends with endermen!

I don't think an Enderman would like spawning on a block, and around the block is infinite length ocean.

If Endermen were in Indev, then spawning an island would make the Endermen sad.

My opinion is that Minecraft isn't as good as Civilization V.

If you don't like Minecraft, fair enough, but how would you like it if someone told you something you like is stupid?

For instance, if I commented that Civilization V is stupid, how would you feel (for the record, I do not like RTS's at all to begin with)?

Another thing - I doubt I'm the only one who reads comments like that as a personal insult. Not in the literal sense, but more of the "X is stupid and you have bad taste for liking it" or something. I know that's not what you intended (or at least, I sure hope so), but that's not something worth risking.

I'm not saying sarcasm isn't allowed - I can be a sarcastic jerk when I really want to be - but insulting other people's opinions (which this heavily comes across as) is not the kind of behavior we want.

Since both of them are about building things, and one of them allows you to create FAR more impressive stuff as long as you get past the initial interface hurdle...

If it weren't for survival mode, Minecraft would not be a game, it would be a basic CAD program.

Really. It's CAD-like enough for this one awesome guy to be able to create a script that can use 3D printers (if you don't know what that is, then google -- it's mindblowing) to print not from a normal CAD program file, but from a Minecraft map, which is freaking awesome.
