I will release Demo 1 once we hit 15 levels. Here's a picture of the kind of things you should expect:

MY TEXTURE IS BEING USED! :D :D :D :D :D

But if you want your levels to be terrible in that way, then I'll have to change the style of my future submissions. I have a 2nd done (I need to test it but it's too late for me now as I have to go to sleep soon) and it isn't like that. My 1st isn't messed-up terrible either. But I'll work on it.

The scenery doesn't have to be terrible. The puzzles can be just plain bad.

I can't even tell what the floors are! It looks like ice and walls and water combined to make a crappy adventure.

Umm... I think my eyes wouldn't survive playing this (even if they would, my brain would explode). Trust me, normal textures are OK

Agreed.

That was actually the only level that used a non-normal texture.

My eyes are grateful...

You do realize it's supposed to look bad, right? It's called Terrible Island for a reason.

But 'terrible' doesn't mean 'unplayable due to making your eyes drop out of skull'. It's hard to play so colourful and abstract adventures, it's hard to move in them.

I personally think the texture is fine. I could easily get through that without problems. For me, as long as you can tell what is and isn't wall the visuals don't bother me. And while 'terrible' and 'extremely unsightly' aren't synonyms, don't you agree that something being extremely unsightly is pretty terrible?

Your post is terrible enough

And your attitude even moreso. Even though Nobody's post wasn't terrible in the first place.

OK, back on topic, are you going to release any demo soon?
Is there any storyline?

15 levels marks the release of Demo 1. Right now we have 6.
Pawelec wrote:Is there any storyline?
Yes, there will be a storyline of some sort, although I haven't quite decided on it yet.

Note to MNIK: I've submitted a second entry.

I'm also beginning work on a third.

Sorry, but I don't really think that entry will fit into this hub, since people are going to play it for the hilariously bad adventures rather than the puzzles.

Well, then I'll find some other use for it. In any case, the third will be about overdoing things.

Sent you another one. This one might not be as good (or, I guess bad) as the first one.

MNIK, you have two levels in your inbox to check out, and a third will be coming soon.

Added several new rules, since some people don't seem to understand what I'm looking for when I say "terrible."

I've rejected some of the already-submitted adventures that have failed to meet these criteria, so if you're a victim of that, I'm sorry. I've considered just cancelling this hub since I feel guilty for rejecting adventures that actually had time and effort put into them (which is pretty much the antithesis of this hub), but IT'S TOO LATE NOW.

STOP MAKING THEM SO GOOD!

I hereby quit submitting adventures. The new rules make it impossible for me to make an adventure. I just can't make an adventure that has...nothing in it. Sorry MNIK, but I can't make the kind of terrible you want.

This is why my 'Abstraction' never got much attention. I re-played it just now and well, ouch.
