I kinda thought the crossed-arms sprite made that obvious.

In that case, you need to learn how to make it clear when you're joking and when you're not.

Ahaaa, solved it! That was fun. :)

OK, so what is the intended solution for Part 1? I used the unintended one because I've seen it used before and I'm frustratingly, hopelessly, stuck in Part 2, to the point of wanting to murder Mr. Zurkon. :x

The intended solution to Part 1 is to do the intended solution to Part 2.

I know right? The second part was the hardest part for me.
Hint:
For the first part, if you trap yourself in a floing bubble on a Brr pad, the Brr pad won't disappear.
For the second part, cast the first floing bubble on the ice tile nearest to you. Then quickly create a Brr pad on the second water tile from you, and collect the Floing charge. Run and trap yourself in the first bubble. After it bursts, cast a second bubble and trap yourself in there too. Proceed to get blink. Blink onto the ice pad.
I found this adventure somewhat unfair though (not to me, of course, but still). Not everyone knows about the Ice Blink trick, and the other tricks used. But I liked how the floing ice trick works. Thanks for a great puzzle!

That's not a hint so much as it is the full solution.

I knew someone was gonna say that
Wait it was nobody.
Actually the first part was a hint, but I saw no way to give a hint for the second part. Sorry if I misled anyone, esp Wonderman.

Sorry about all the tricks/exploits/whatever that were required to beat this adventure. I'll try to avoid using this sort of thing in my future adventures. I'm glad you enjoyed this adventure though. :)

Wonderful adventure... it was quite tricky at start but then was easy. The use of quite awkward tricks and the exploits were fun. I never knew there were these many ways of making adventures... (I know only one way - the hub's adventures style)

Anyways, it has given me something to ponder about the WAE

Nah - I think as long as it's clear there is no "legit" solution, doing stuff like this is fine. It only gets mean when these exploits are used in a very complex puzzle and you don't even have a chance of figuring it out.

Brilliant!
This adventure was really fun and neat!
It's really clever! :D
(I also kinda had to read some of the first part's hints..)

I'm actually quite OK with using glitches like that. They're fun (to learn and execute), and I might use them too in my adventures! :D
Do continue using them!

What I'm saying is that I feel a level should have a notice if glitches are to be used (just like Muz's Unfair or Wonderman's Garden Problems), just in case a repeat of River Crossings (WA1, I used the quick Brr trick in my initial solution). Sorry for the ambiguity!

EDIT: In retrospect I think my OP was uncalled for. I realised that the whole challenge of this puzzle was to think out of the box, and this puzzle has made me do that. Even in "mainstream adventures", I realise it's acceptable to use glitches (I even exploited the Ice Blink trick in Icy Waters, POTZ, does that make me a hypocrite), although I'd prefer to use them only if the level says so.

The absolute last thing that I remember doing in the first WA is finishing "River Crossings" without the quick brr trick. It is an absolute nightmare of a level, but it is possible.
Ice Blink trick in Icy Waters
If you mean "blinking on ice does not collapse the brr pad" then I thought that was an intentional part of the design? :? I think we even discussed that in the beta forum.

Now, the "floing on ice" trick is a version I didn't know before.

Wow. That makes my Original Post even more irrelevant and extra. I must apologise, Kooky.

Um if I remember correctly the legit way I used to solve it was quite simple? :?

Nicely done. :D I consider any glitch "legit" as long as it doesn't require a save/load slot. (And I don't really think the MooBot thing you used was a glitch, actually.)

It would've been cool if you had used the ZapBot Laser Glitch in your level, though. :)

Wait a minute. I thought for the Moobot
spoilers wrote:you just drown it by making it stop on a Brr pad? That's not a glitch. Unless you used a different solution?

That's exactly what I did. And also, I, sadly, have no qualms using glitches in official levels. I did a lot of minor stuff (pretty sure I used the Sliding Blink trick in "Icy Waters") and I'm ashamed to say that I was perfectly fine with DESTROYING the intended solution in MOFI's "Brr At The Shore" with the fast recovery trick.

I would've given up by now if it wasn't for samuelthx's hint on Section 1, but then I got the rest on my own pretty quickly. And I only realized after people started mentioning it that the music is Kaboom! Village's theme song. :P

Yeah, it was a nice little level. (But really, what was the point of all those Lurkers at the end?)
