You're right Maureen, but it was a Mini, wasn't it, and it was stuck in 2nd gear.
"Ramblers" can
only refer to rambling and rambling, both of which we all excell at.

Ann,
I had a Mini Metro, it was bright yellow and went beep, beep, beep and beep!
My colleagues used to say... "Here comes the Flying Banana".

Yes - way off topic - It's a little Nash Rambler that went meep, meep, meep. The Roadrunner makes the same sound. I think they are cousins.
