No, but they're harder to avoid than normal flames.

Yes, but acid can actually be handy in some situations...

No buckets...
You'll see when the final version comes out, but I'm feeling generous tonight, so I guess I'll tell you stuff if you want it. Maybe I'll post some more previews tonight too.

I still need to make 7 levels and 2 bosses, so I'd imagine it would be in a few days. I want to get a start on ET5 before June 18th, so it will be done some time before then.
Anyways, about the acid - It makes bubbles that you can bounce across. However, if you touch the acid itself, it kills you.
New preview coming as soon as I finish the current level I'm working on.

Yes.

Spoilers wrote:]Yellow Gropples are worth 10 Gropples.
In ET2 and ET3, Gropples turn yellow after you press the White Button.
In ET4, Gropples turn yellow when your Gropple Value is at least 10.

I think that the last few levels of ET4 are actually going to be harder than ET2. The second level of The Future is quite difficult to get the gem on, and I wasn't even trying to make it hard... it must be the new hazards.
Anyways, end-of-day report:
Levels finished: 29/35

Yay, I'll download it soon.
I've been busy (in Terraria. *shot*) so, that's why I can't reallly download stuff.

Bomb conveyors have never been crazier.

And how can flames be harder to avoid?

They will be faster.

Yup, were boned.

It's actually easier than it looks. In some parts, you're going with the flow of the conveyor rather than against it.

Well, sort of. More health units are vital for later levels of the game.

I'm completely out of ideas for level designs and objects. Does anyone have any good ideas for new gameplay objects?

Emerald141 wrote:How about a lava valve? It lets lava down out of it periodically, so you have to time your movements carefully to avoid it.
Hmm. OHKO for that would be cheap. Maybe I'll add lasers. That would be fitting since I'm working on a level in The Future right now.
Lava valves do give me an idea, though... Flooding...
Anything platform-related will help, a lot.

One-Hit Knockout. Basically, getting killed in one hit.
Emerald141 wrote:Anyway, how about a token that alters your gravity? That could make for some pretty interesting levels.
GENIUS!!! *rips some code from Deja Vu*
I'm definitely using that exclusively on the last level of the game.

Vaguely, with all of the invisible gravity-inverters.
I've decided the final level of ET4 will be huge and have a crapload of new stuff that will blow everyone away (well, at least everyone who's worthy of getting that far). There will be no saves in the level, but no instakill stuff either, so it's even.
I've got a vague idea of what the rest of the levels are going to be like.
