You're not moving fast enough

OK, am I supposed the get the key in the 2nd room before I finish the 3rd room? I get a white key from the 3rd room. Should I go right back to the 2nd room and try for that key between the fires, or wait until I finish the 3rd room? I still don't see how the chomper can get from behind the closed yellow gate to get back up to the button that raises the path to get to the key. I'm so confused!!!

It's a stone key, so the order of when you get it doesn't matter.

You need to lead the chomp to the button. He follows your move, all you need to do is to guide him throught the left, then to the right by standing close to where the entrance is (by gems)

This is the level I need to do for my 100th star.
I have looked and looked but cant find the entrance. Is it where the island is surrounded by the 12 discs (and is this Loopy's clue?), if so I cant get in. Some guidance here would be greatly appreciated.

It's either in the Acid pools area or in the pirate camp, more likely the pirate camp. There should be 4 levels in there, 2 at the left side and 2 at the right side.

Found it - It's at the pirate camp. I remember 'leaving it for later', obviously forgot to go back for it.

can't believe I missed the key. Have all the others but when I return to second room chomper is on yellow button. Will I have to start the adventure all over again or can I get him to move? Have overwritten previous saves

I don't think there's any way to get the chomper to move to the right place at that point, so sorry, you'll have to restart the adventure.

thanks for reply - next question is how do I stop chomper from going through yellow gate in the first place?

You close the yellow gate when you passes it the first time. Step on yellow button, step on gate then step on yellow button again before heading North.

I am moving right along in the cave . I needed a bigger bag. I aborted the level and went back and got a bigger bag and other items. If I go back through the game to get back where I was all the levels are undone. I can't redo all that. How can I get back where I was in the game?

Did you save your game at any point? If you did, then you might want to load, and then walk back to the camp again.
When at the deep dark cave, did you flo there? It could be a bug, cos if you abort a level, and walk all the way to the camp, and walk all the way back, then you're "done" levels should show a blue star.

No, I did'nt flo to the cave. I am in the second room. Can I walk back? I tried but did'nt see a way back through. The bridge is collapsed in the first room with the chomper. When I aborted the level and walked ALL the way back and tried to return. The levels I had already done were yellow...UGH....

You can go back, but then you can't return Is your problem that you can't hold any more keyes? May I suggest that you wait taking those stonekeyes until you've used the one you need in the second room? If you still don't have room for the keyes, then you have to load to a previous level, finish that one, go get the huge bag before you continue. Sorry, but it seems to be the only option.
And then I hope that your stars will be blue again

I did it Salin. I managed to go back a get rid of a key. Now I just have to past the 4th gate. YIPEEEEE.......
