Working on Game Maker on my laptop is a real pain in the butt. It lags like crazy too so it's hard to get anything done. I tried N before,
It is a funny and well organized game,...
Most of the time I fail in it.
There are these lasers and stuff that are out to get you.
It has been said that it contains its own built in level editor, called Ned.
I haven't played it for years, so I'm out of touch.
Looks like there is a forum for downloading free N levels by others:

The levels are text-based, you can even put a sample level right here.
I think that is a fascinating concept that the level itself can be expressed
as simple ASCii characters (or Unicode too?).
This brings up the possibility that our own RTW forum levels,
{LV4,LV5,LV6} can be converted into some kind of friendly ASCII
code expression to be embedded in our posts.
These "code-expressions" would be copied instead of downloaded,
and use less bytes than attachments, especially if compressed.

The difficulty "resets" after every column of episodes so it isn't going to get much harder than that. Although there were still several levels in the early episodes of each column that made me RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGEEEEEEEEEE.
