But still you have internet connection so you can talk with other people, and that's nice. Although I don't quite understand how you can receive a wireless network 30 meters under the ground.
I hope for you it will be soon over so you can go back home.

Did you ever witness such a storm before? It seems there are often such storms in the Caribbean. I searched for it on Google and they call the storm "Tomas" with the center about between St. Lucia and St. Vincent. Do you live at one of them? If the center is there then probably it's going to be better from now on.

Well, of course it's pity if there will be damage to houses, but I think you'll be safe 30 m under the ground, although it's hot and dark, better then the people, living in tents on Haiti, if the storm reaches them.
I wish you a good sleep tonight, and that tomorrow will be better. Right now it's 2:00 h here in NL, so I'm going to sleep a bit. Good luck.

I don't watch TV, but here's something about on the site of NOS (Dutch news TV)
http://nos.nl/artikel/194947-orkaan-tom ... haiti.html
You can also search on Google. Here is another one:
http://www.nola.com/hurricane/index.ssf ... the_e.html As of 11 pm, Hurricane Tomas is 65 miles west north west of St. Vincent and about 75 miles west of St. Lucia.
Tomas is moving west north-west at 9 mph with maximum sustained winds of 90 mph.
So it is moving away from St.Lucia and St. Vincent.
