LittleZbot wrote:Your making of V3 of your music pack is inspiring me to start on V3 of MY music pack. I already have a new underwater theme, a
creepy hideout theme, and another scary tune.

Do remember that I'm actually going to use most of the music I'm putting in this pack.

Somehow the first part of "Space Station" reminds me of Luigi's Mansion. It certainly sounds ghostly.
EDIT: I just listened to "Desert Tune." I'm probably gonna use it in a few of my levels, along with MY desert tune. And you were right,. It DOES sound better than mine.

I made a level with 255 and changed the thing using a hex editor, and I got three or four MAVs in a row. I DID NOT change the wrong file. I checked twice.

If you got a MAV, then you surely did something wrong.
Here's my procedure for inserting custom music into a level:
1. Open up the editor, make the room that the custom music is wanted in.
2. Save and quit.
3. Open up the .wlv file with a hex editor.
4. Go to the end of the file. There should be something like 64 00 00 00 64 00 00 00 64
5. Leave 3 00's after the last 64. Put the music ID there.
6. Go back to the editor and compile.
7. ?????
8. MAYBE PROFIT IF YOU DID IT RIGHT
EDIT: Added a picture to show exactly what you're supposed to change. It's the one highlighted in blue.

I'm confused.
I selected the last letter of the name, hit left 12 times, changed the number to the number you wrote beside the music, and it got me three MAVs in a row. I think I'll stick to Jafo's tools.

No. Not the last letter, the
first letter...
Look at my picture above. I have the music ID highlighted in blue.

So I clicked the first letter, hit left twelve times, and am still on the name.

WHATTA I SUPPOSED TO DO?
EDIT: Do I have to hit left three times after the last 64? the statment on you instructions is confusing...

If you press left once, you shouldn't be on the name anymore... ._.
Oh whatever, just look at where my cursor is in the freaking picture. Change that!!

So I start at the last letter of the name? O_o
No. Not the last letter, the first letter...
And I still don't know where I should put it. The picture is for your level, and I'm not doing you level. I'm thoroughly confused.

Forget the name thing... -.-
The position of the music ID is pretty much the same for every level. It's after the three 64's, as marked in blue.

I just found some scary music which is DEFENTLY scarier than yours(although it is more of an underwater scary thing). It may or may not be in my music pack in the far future.

You should make a level where Mr. Zurkon decides to sing for a band or something, using the "Trololo" music, pretending Mr. Zurkon is singing it.

The music that I use doesn't really have anything scary, just the tune that says "OH CRUD, SOMETHING EVIL AND BAD IS HAPPENING," in a somewhat dark tone.
