I've been pondering for a bit about what we have so far and I've reached the following conclusion.
"oon and midnight" is likely "noon and midnight." It would make sense since both times are at 12:00. Plus, it would give purpose to the "for one" which comes earlier, where "for one" could refer to an amount of time during which something happens. A minute seems the most likely, since a second is too short and an hour is too long. I'm guessing this minute occurs at both "noon and midnight" as the message possibly suggests (I'd imagine this time is based off of system time on your computer).
During this minute, something important might happen. Getting the item we're supposed to use somewhere on Barren seems to be the most reasonable explanation. Where it happens, though, I don't know. My first guess would be at the blue flower dude's place at the Wonderland Academy. Unless MS plans on making a WA4 (which I doubt) it would be weird to just leave the whole blue flower deal hanging like that. The weirdness has been built up throughout the entire trilogy anyway.
I'm probably wrong with this theory, but I'm sure everything will become clear with a few more message pieces.

You guys I DID post my code. It made the message be "midnight if you plant" so, I knew about the Blue Flower slightly before you.

I got the '3 1 FORONE' part, but it seems I've been a bit late.
PotZ is a great game, and I was quite surprised there were no Crabs nor BabyBoomers used. Now I cannot wait for the Editor.

Yeah, one of the pics on the update thread showed wee stinkers and baby boomers working together on barren.

That's news to me as well, actually. I recall asking MS about why Lava/Kaboom!s/other MoFI elements didn't appear in PoTZ, and his answer was along the lines of "so MoFI has its own unique features as well".

These remain MOFI only (so each game has its unique features)
