Holiday Contest

Tasha & I were considering organizing a Holiday Themed Contest for both Christmas

and New Year's

Levelmakers can decide which holiday they would prefer to build their level around.
However, before we outline all the official rules, dates for submission, prizes, etc. we would like to have an idea of how many members would be interested in submitting entries.
Our initial planning would be to have all entries received by 14th December at midnight EST with scoring to be submitted by 3 January at midnight EST. Winner would be announced 4 January at 11:00 am EST. This would provide lots of time for submission & scoring over this busy time of year.
If you are interested please let us know so we can "get the ball rolling".

Thanks.
We can forsee lots of fun and laughs for the season

Could you post the rules and stuff or pm them to me. I'm going to have to get my level in before the end of this month cause I'm headed out of town. I've got to go take care of my dad in another state and he had his home phone taken out several yrs. ago since he got a cell phone. So for about 3 wks. no computer access, no Wonderland, I'll have to resort to other things that I used to do before Wonderland came along.

As most of you know, Cathy & I are organizing a Holiday Level Contest

Our thought is to combine the Christmas & New Year's Holiday season so puzzles could be themed around this entire festive period. Please join in the level-making fun.
Previous Contest rules will be followed as detailed below:
1. Entries to be PM'd or emailed to
Cathy (jcvalcar2@aol.com) by December 14th at 12 midnight EST.
2. Make sure your name is no where in the level, but make sure to tell
Cathy who made what.
3. The level has to be Holiday themed.
4. No size and difficulty restrictions, but try to make it FUN.
5. No hex editing.
6. Textures/models/backgrounds allowed but not required.
7. Each person can only be involved in the making of 2 entries. (If you join a chain level, you can also make a solo level -- OR submit 2 solo levels).
8. Using old models/houses, etc. is allowed (but if someone uses, for instance, an old JG model this will not be considered as JG taking part in that entry).
When all the entries are received
Cathy will post them on the Puzzles/Action Forum and the scoring can begin.
Scoring
a. Scores must be sent by PM to
Tasha by January 3rd at 12 midnight EST.
b. You can also send your guesses on who make what level by the same deadline date to
Tasha.
c. You must give each puzzle a score fronm 1 to 10 (10 being the best). You can also use the decimal point system -- i.e., 7.5, 8.3, etc.
d. The levels should be judged on
inventiveness, fun and Holiday Themeness.
e. Anyone can score the levels, but if you score one, you have to score them all -- including your own.
When the scores and guesses have been received
Tasha will record and add them and the winner will be revealed
January 4th at 11:00 am EST.
Are you game? Let's start the Holiday Season off with Wonderland Fun!!!
Cathy and Tasha
Special Note
Patrick has been kind enough to offer a
PRIZE.

Thanks Patrick.

One copy of a downloadable game from our current game list (Wonderland, RTW, Secret Worlds, Colony, Intensity, ReCharge, Spongebob, Frazzled) is awarded to each of the participants (maximum 3) of the winning level.
So all you Excellent levelmakers please put on your "Thinking Caps" & get working on those Holiday Puzzles.

Thank you Tasha. I should be home in time to play and get my vote in. I want to be home by Christmas anyway, depends on how my dad does on his Chemo.
