Whoohoo! :D
Great article, I'm very curious about this "Archon" game.
I'm even more curious about Wonderland Adventures, after seeing the trailer!
I like the looks of those rainbow crystals, but what were those rainbow cubes???
Also, what was going on when Stinky was jumping between platforms?
So cool looking! 8)

Will it be out before Christmas? I want it as a present!

WOW
Wonderland Adventures looks amazing!
I can not wait in till the new Wonderland comes out!
I liked the new style of the game, The venues fly trap or plant boss, the keys and locked doors. The Pac Man style level, The Swanp Town and Dark texters, The way that Stinky was sliding on the ice, How you can hold items like keys, And how Stinky dances when he gets to the end of a level.
I can not wait in till the new Wonderland comes out!
PS: Is there a way to download the video ?
I liked the Archon game artical.
Also liked the 3D Maze in this issue.

Looking better every time Patrick.
It will be interesting to see how hard it is to adapt to using the mouse instead of the arrow keys.

Hey popo, nice beanie!
And Liz, what a beautiful sketch. You are very artistic.

What are you so angry about?
EDIT: Don't get angry just because your ideas didn't get in. When I reccomend ideas I make sure not to like them too much and say to myself "If they don't make it in It's just the same as if I didn't suggest them". A developer can only put so much into a game, and who knows it might have gotten in.

I dont like the fact that you have to use a mouse
than a kebord,
But I have not felt what it feels like
using the mouse in Wonderland.
Other than that am going to buy the new Wonderland

Blast10: this is a very bizarre response, and I'm a bit at a loss of words. But there's really no need to get angry about it: If you don't want to buy the game, for whatever reason, then don't buy the game.

paulm12: I've been a fan of both Remix.Kwed.Org and VGMusic for a long time. :) Did you post about it before? I hadn't seen that thread.

Janet and Szai: I don't think it's so much an issue of "adapting" to mouse control, since the game is (as I've said before) quite different... so a direct comparison is difficult anyhow. The mouse control simply means that certain things from the classic Wonderland don't work well (and hence were dropped), where as other new mechanisms have been added that were impossible before (e.g. the "guiding the stinkers" and the "aiming" bits seen in the video, among others).

The WA film was terrific, Patrick! Waiting for the new game becomes ever more difficult, you know.
The new mouse system will take a little getting used to, but I could see the need for it ánd it does allow for new elements and gameplay. So I'm not worried about it.

The models made by Popo and Janet look great too! :D

2007 will be a wondrously wonderful Wonderlandyear.... :stinkyhappy: :stinkyhappy: :stinkyhappy:

About keyboard: It is a possibility that we'll add limited keyboard support for the die-hard keyboard fans, although that would mean playing with both mouse + keyboard in certain situations. We'd probably just put it in as an advanced option - if at all. We'll see how well it plays with that option, and if it doesn't work, it doesn't work.

Hey Pat

Nice preview! You know though it was about 58minutes 36seconds too short though  oh well... though definitely long enough for my sad dial-up connection.

Sorry I haven't been around to contribute much lately. A big thanks to those who did so - the usual suspects :D

Have to say it looks fantastic. Nice to see some new gameplay modes. Just loved the Petey Piranha look-a-like.

As for the controls it may well be a case of just getting use to it (like the Wii). I'm sure it will come together just fine.

Looking forward to more updates as the day draweth nigh!

Robbie :D

I rarely write to the forum because I haven't anything to say, but I do want to thank MS and Patrick for the Midnight Post and the Wonderland Games. I have ordered the CD of MS games as a Christmas gift for my niece. It is an incredible value and I know she will enjoy many hours of gameplay. I have been particularly impressed with what you get for your money, the customer support, and integrity of this company. The Midnight Post is a special bonus. I can tell from the tone of his reponses that Patrick is a very kind and diplomatic individual. The custom level makers are incredibly generous with their time and talent. I have every confidence that I can give the gift of Wonderland to my niece, and I don't have to worry that she may see inappropriate content on the discussion board or quickly become bored with the games.

When people do a great job, they should be told about it. Great job, Midnight Synergy! I am looking forward to the new game.

Thanks,

Lucky

GREAT preview Patrick... I like the mouse control idea, as my old fingers aren't fast enough for some of the puzzle now.

While peeking around, did I notice a fireball spitting venus flytrap, now that's    Anybody ever seen the movie "Little Shop of Horrors"

Edit:
Blast!10, nobody is coming to your home to force you to purchase the game. There are lots of games out there I don't care for, the solution is simple I don't play them.

Haha!
A classic movie! "Feeeeeed me Seymour!!!"

The rainbow crystals remind me of Marble Blast.
Has anyone played that game?

I had no idea, someone your age would know what it was. I loved Steve Martin's part of the demented dentist.
