The following is a test level/tutorial on how to use the advanced custom 3d model options.

When posting a regular deluxe .lv5 level, just post as usual with the subject "New Level: Levelname". When you post a level that requires either custom models or custom houses, post the subject as "New Level (Advanced): Levelname" and specify the model pack it requires, as follows:

This level requires the carshow 3d model pack installed. You can find this model pack in this post:

And here's a picture of what it should look like if all is done correctly.

Use the A B C D objects, but you have to specify the folder first by pressing Shift & M so the editor knows what models to use.

Sizing and orientation does unfortunately take some fiddling. Check out the tutorial which goes through some steps and issues:

I do want to take the opportunity to mention that you don't have to always make your models sit on the ground. Things like airplanes, spaceships, planets, etc. naturally floats, and sometimes you might intentionally want things to unnaturally float too. :P Or you might want to make a decoration that's suppose to sit on top of the regular wall or tree or house, those will be floating models too (unless you incorporate the wall/tree etc. into the model itself). You might even want to make models that are actually at a "below ground" level, for example imagine a model of a hole dugged into the ground. Use your imagination!

I don't think you can do this, however, you could hide a chomper in the car.

The picure with the cars looks familiar, but I'm not sure where I saw it before. :? Well, I'm no technician, so I can't download these models, let alone houses, backrounds, and/or textures.
