Warning -- lots of thinking mixed with a few action elements.

Have frustration, err, I mean, fun!

I've got your TP puzzle figured out (very neat) but I can't keep the yellow gate closed for the second half
I'll try again later...

Break one of the top boulders, misguide the another.

I tried that, one or the other of the boulders gets broken and one continues merrily rolling back and forth

Means you didn't time the second one right.

When you get to my age timing the first one right is an achievement
I'll try it again.

You are a good joker, bob roest.

I don't understand your hint Muzo
There are 4 buttons in the first room, and 4 items to cover them with.
I can always get 3 buttons covered, but either the dark blue or the yellow are left out.
I'm completely stuck on this one.

Lizzie,
The hint was about the second part, not about getting out of the first room.
In order to escape the first part (highlight for hint): A wooden block next to a TP will prevent a ball going in that direction

Thanks for helping Lizzie, Amnon!

Hoof, my word! This one certainly
did require quite a bit of thinking

And that
timing trick with the sphere on the left was very mean
Certainly one that felt good to finally solve

Many thanks! And of course,
my video solution~

In hindsight, I feel maybe the timing trick should've just been left out entirely. The actual first room puzzle is, IMO, really cool (tooting my own horn here, I know), but then having to also time the sphere just doesn't feel "in style".
I think "Transporting" from WSW was my initial inspiration, with all its boulder/teleporter shenanigans, and the first room is like that, only in a much smaller space. Also: I forgot I had the level start with a sign just saying "?" and nothing else, maybe I should make a level that starts with "!" and nothing else.
