Can you tell me how to do River Crossings and Button me down, because I need 2 keys to go to the Lonely Top.

Gawd, I wish I could help you but I'm stuck on both too. On Button Me Down I'm a good 8-9 steps away from the area I need to be to removed the stinker, so I'm not even close. Can't see how I can get that much faster. On River Crossing I can get the gold coins at the top but I'm stuck everywhere else. Where is the access to Lonely Top? Think I must have missed that.
Hoping and praying someone will take pity on us and help us out!

This levels are making me cry. I'm just not fast enough for the button me down level. Not even close. I think you need to open the gates to get to the lonely top. The gates to the keys you get when you finish a level in Forest's End.

I found out something interesting about Forest's End. If you complete a level, then a new level shows up. On a good note, at least I'm not on that endless loop with the same few adventures. On the bad side, I just have more of these EXTREMELY hard levels to do.
Oh well, what's a stinker to do?

Peggy, after reading your reply I know what I have to do. I feel stuck in the forest as I cannot do Button me down. I did finish rivers end, and now I have a new adventure, that I can't do. I wanted to skip and go on, but apparently I have to finish the hard levels to go on. Might not happen. Donna

If you're talking about River Crossings, then do the following:
For the coins at the top, stand on the Brr button and shoot 4 rows of ice across the pond. Cross over and use all 9 charges on the pond then come back and repeat until you have 2 lines of ice to get to/from the coins. To get the 2 sets of coins on the right side, I've attached 2 pics to explain how to get the turtles lined up to work. Work the buttons until you get them this way or another way that works. Be sure to fill up with Brr before you cross. To get the gems at the bottom, fill up all reachable spots with ice, refill your brr and step onto the ice diagonally right and then down. Get to the gems without blocking the turtles. Once you have all the gems there, step into the path of the first turtle just before the left most opening to the water. It will turn onto the ice then turn left to land. Refill the open spots with ice then repeat turning the next turtle. Be sure to get the gold coins before doing this section as the adventure ends as soon as you get the last gem.

No problem! I just figured out it was rather silly of me to white out the text when I had 2 huge pictures showing most of the solution anyways...
Oh well!

Wow these are tough. In Rivers Crossing i have no problem getting the gems on the right, but i can't get across to the ones at the bottom. I've tried going across at angles but i always fall in the water. Does anyone have advice.

For the gems on the bottom it's important to go diagonal then hit the down button as soon as you hit the ice. This way you'll make it to land ok.
Peggy
Thx

Thanks, I'll try that. I didn't know you could actually do something like that.

I can get the 3 gems at the top right, and I can get the 3 gems at the bottom right OR the gems at the bottom pool and the ones to the left, but not both. I used one turtle from the top pool to help make a bridge at the bottom pool. That's easy. The problem is if you do that you can't get a turtle in the right place to get the bottom right gems. I've tried freezing a turtle on the top button but it thaws out before I can get back on land.
I'm using the mouse btw, and you can't do that turning on ice thing with the mouse, you drown.
BTW, what is the pop glove for? I can't find a use for it at all.

I think your idea was not the way to the key it was meant to be.
Pop glove is some trick to ask yourself: "what is it for?"
I'll post 2 screenshots where I was halfway the pool. Hopefully you can think about how to get there.

I have done it your way by using the keyboard instead of the mouse, but I don't think Patrick intended it to be done that way. He says you should be able to do it all with the mouse and that way doesn't work with the mouse. I'm sure he intended that one turtle from the top pool should be let out. The way the areas are shaped ensures it goes round in a circle, and the area above the bottom pool is T shaped. What is that for if not to keep a turtle going back and forth until you direct it into the pool?
Plus the top button has no earthy use if you don't freeze a turtle on it.
I would like to know what Patrick's intended way of doing it was, out of curiousity.

On river crossing, even with pictures, still can't work out how to use buttons to change the direction of the turtles. Also having trouble with diagonal moves on the ice. Can anyone help? Pleeeeaase!
