The Green Shard - where do I go???

Ok. I have gotten the key and got the Blink. My question is where do I go from here? I have blinked all over the place but none of it is getting me any closers to the star. Help, Please!

The Thwarts are destroying the Cubes if you stand on the right places.

I think I've hit every surface in the place. The only place I noticed the cubes being destroyed was when I was getting the gold coins. Could you give me a little more help? I seem denser today than usual!

Ok, I'm in this room now. I got the gold coins. What key(s) where? What are cubes? I'm just baffled by this room.

Stand on islands as in the screenshot above and then get Thwartypants to shoot at you then blink so he misses you and hits the monstrosities behind you!
I enjoyed this level!

I've got the green shard but Morklin doesn't recognise this and keeps trying to send me after it. So what now?
Is this because I didn't do all the adventures in this level? If that's so I'll never get it finished because I have tried the deep dark forest a hundred times and really can't get it.

You need to make the green shard sing by clicking it 3 times and reproducing the resulting song - like you did with the red shard. This will take you to the Wastelands.

Yea thanks Gen - I was getting quitte desperate. A state I have often been in whilst playing WA.
