I only have 85 stars. Where are the other ones ?

all over the place. Talk to the townspeople. If they need help, give it to them. If they just need someone to talk to, be there for them...repeatedly. Look in every nook and cranny. Do you still have a rainbow key? Find somewhere to use it. Have you played at the arcade yet?

at the very first screen in the very beginning of the game, there is a rainbow gate on your left side where you began. Use the spy-eye to see where it is. Yo'll find there 2 extra stars.
