I am stuck in this puzzle area - have gathered all the coins and the green key, but cannot take the yellow key "my bag is full, no room". What I need to know is how do I get back to the market from here to buy a bigger bag? I can't seem to find my way out of here back to Forbidden Forest. Help please, thanks

i gather you know how to use your shards. use your blue one to get back to morklin and from there go back to the merchant to buy yourself another bag that will be bigger.

No, I do not know how to "use my shards" and when I try to click on the one that transported me here I am told "you cannot use your shards in an adventure" - so clue me in if that is OK, please. What do I do now besides 'load' ing a save just before I entered this area. Thanks

you are not supposed to use your shard during an adventure. get out of your adventure, and then take a look at your bag.you must have three shards : orange, red and blue. click three times on the blue one and you will get back to morklin. if you are in sunken path, you must have used a shard to get there because there is no door to get there; but as I said, you have to get out of your adventure and then you will be able to use your shard. hope that helps you.

get out of your adventure. If you stay into your adventure, you won't be able to use your shard.

thank you so much, you gave me the nudge to realize I could use either one of my 4 shards (any one will work) OR use the abort feature which I did not think about at all. Now I can get back to the market and buy the bigger bag. Thanks a 'bunch of bananas'

made a video solve to Sunken Paths - I can't seem to get it right from the 'nutters' instructions, keep ending up stuck & Stinker stuck too, need a 'visual' to help me see where I am going wrong. AND, now, now children, don't 'squabble', please. You will make me feel like I started trouble here.

I give you a walkthru button to button.

But first I have to make the walkthru myself.

I thought of making step by step pictures, but that would take too long.

please. and I apologize for not being clear about where I am. I am trying to get me and Stinker across but by the time I move "Stinker to green button, you (me) to brown button and go back down and right" there is no way for Stinker to get to where he needs to be, all the 'bridges' are gone! So I obviously am doing something wrong. Think you can help me? Thanks

we are near the red circle, we've just picked up the 2 coins!
I'll give you the direction to push a button
you'll need to push 2 buttons to pop up again the logs to walk over.
So I wrote 2 direction per line
'R' = right, cos you'll to go a lot to the right!
Here we go:

go R, go down and pick up the green key, go down
go up (you stand where the key was), go up
go up, go up
go up, go R
go left to pick up the coins
go R, go R
go R, go up
go R, go R
go R, go down
go down, go left and go back R
go R, go down and pick up the yellow key

You've done it!
Now walk to the yellow gate, but walk only on the buttons you've just pushed. So don't point to far ahead.

Open the gates and meanwhile collect the coins.

Yes! I think!

I was just walking to that puzzle too.

But if you read this before I came back, please try out this hint:

if you have to push a green button to go on. The stinker has to go also on a green button in his neighbourhood. So likeways if you must go on a black one, the stinker must do this too.
In some cases you or the stinker move diagonal to a button.

And somewhere near the end the two of you come together.
But on the first moves to get on the logs, I do something tricky:
the stinker is on the first path at the right
I stand on the second path at the right
I move the stinker first on the next button and immediately after I move on my next button too. So we begin on a button
Maybe I had to view also the end of Patrick's video for this level too!

we've popped down the black logs on previous puzzle, so you'll see no black logs.
That way I stand before the brown button
The stinker is standing north cos there's coming a brown log up.
I've collected the coins south.
As I wrote before:
I go to a green button then the stinker must go too to a green button

First a bit axplanation:
B = BROWN button, G = Green button, S= stinker
please step to the nearest button in your/stinker's neighbourhood (if you can choose I'll tell you which one)

So from start position I told you in previous post:
I go to B, S goes to B log
I go to G, S goes to G and goes on island (don't step on a button yet!)
I go to B, S goes to B
I wait, S goes to G and G
I go to B, S goes to B and goes back to closest pressed button
I go to G, S goes to G
I go to B, S goes to B and to me (stays on pushed B or B log)
I go to G and G, S moves to 1 squared island
I go to G and G, and collect coins
join with stinker and get off puzzle (see picture)
Also notice there's 1 Black button not pushed! (in red circle)

Managed to do the buttons bit, but theres no sign of the stinker either at the beginning or when Ive completed the buttons. Where is he?

This is a two part puzzle. You do the buttons in the first room to get the green and yellow keys to continue on to the second room where you will find a sleepy stinker.

I do the first two puzzles on the bottom left. But when I get to the 3rd one I have a problem. I go diagonally to get the 2 coins on the right side. I don't touch the button in the middle between the coins. Then I go down and step on the one button and then can't get the green key. All my barrels vanish!

You have to have all the barrels, both kinds, up before you start. If you only have one kind up then you did the previous bit wrong. The barrels in all the parts are linked, so if you leave one part with some barrels down they will be down on the next part. You will have to rethink the previous part to make sure all the barrels are up when you have done it. There's a complete walkthrough on Mette's website.

I can't get the last puzzlle. I am following Mette's site but I get to a certain point and get stuck. I am following her site but nothing helps.All the barrels are up when I start. But then they disappear before I can get halfway.
