Can't find a thing to do!

I am in wondertown. I completed hide and seek and some other ones. But now what? i can't open some of the gates as I have no stars. What now?

Work on getting the next shard. To do that, you'll need to collect a bunch of mushroom keys. Most are all North of Wondertown. So, for example, from the merchant, go north into the next bit of town. You can wander there, or keep going north to another field area where you should find someone to talk to. And further instructions.
