Can someone please find a background similar to the forest one, the difference being, the trees are more willow-like (in other words, there are more vertical lines and contrast? Thank you.
Becky :D

Hi Becky

Try this one. Don't worry if it's not what you want. :D

EDIT: I've deleted this one because it's faulty.

That background looks very nice, although I don't like textures/backgrounds that jump into another color suddenly (ie the color used in the bottom row of pixels is not the color used in the top row of pixels, then when the image "ends" it jumps into another color and it doesn't look nice)
did you get that - I ask because I'm bad at explaining things   :?

I know exactly what you mean Blast10! 8)

The problem with backgrounds is that the same small image is repeated over and over again, and so one needs to flow into another. If I get time today I'll try to make this one "endless". It still doesn't matter if it's not right Becky!

I had a different problem

Well Becky, to make all sides mesh the whole thing has to become more abstract.

I've done what I can. Slight seams are visible but it all meshes fairly well. You can't see a tree as such any more though ... :(

If this is no good it doesn't matter. I've had an entertaining time.

PS: The first image I sent was not saved in the correct way (so sorry   ). This one will definitely work. Just overwrite the last file.

Just downloaded the new background, BRILLIANT!
BTW: The first version didn't work for me and kept displaying STARS instead of custom background or sky as default.

That would be only possible with some extremely weirdly hex-edited level. Starshine can be opened with an ordinary editor.
No offence taken, a mystery unsolved. :?

O, think before you think before you think before you think before you think before you think before you think before you think before you think that someone could make a level with some kind of thing that make downloads faulty.   :!: :!: :!:
I think that only Executables can do that.

It's all in how the game interprets that level, I heard that for a few games people started to design hex-levels that had full program capability.
Let's hope nobody will be enought of an evil genius to make viruses in form of LV6 files.
