Location question

I'm not sure if this is the place but.......how come some of you have your location visable and some of us not? I wouldn't mind my location showing and keep looking for an option to show it and have come up with nothing.
Do you have to reach a certain level of posting to have your location visable? Just wondering....I'm in the US, Michigan, the Upper Peninsula to be more precise (not that anyone cares) LOL!!

It doesn't work now. MS added some spam filters and people who changed their profile after that would not be able to edit the Location

Yours used to show, GoBlue. I remember noticing your location many months ago. So, something has changed that has made yours invisable.

I care.....I was born in Michigan, near Tawas City. I have an Aunt and Uncle that live in Dearborn, and another on Drummond Island!!!!!
hey.....I just noticed, it doesn't say I'm in Pennsylvania anymore
I didn't change anything.

Mine used to show also, but that option is no longer available for some reason. Then I started getting a lot of spam and changed my email address but blocked this one from being shown if anyone looked at my profile. of course you can always place your location in your signature.

eeyore that all must be in lower Michigan. I'm a Yooper so I don't recognize any of those town names. Kind of fun to know there are more of us Michiganders around Wonderland.
I think putting that location tag in our signature's is a good idea. Now that some of us have lost it.
I have met so many folks from other countries here on the boards and find that so refreshing and interesting. Even with the way folks express themselves in type is interesting. Funny how some things can mean different things in different countries. I just hope I don't use some silly Yooper phrase and offend anyone hehehe

Hi all
I really like this idea of the location being part of our sigs. I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota right near you gals from Michigan and still think of myself as a Minnesotan but I am living in Florida. And dlcs18...I only joined the forum in January this year and I did NOT know that you are from the UK. Now I do.

jwdo...go into your profile and where it says signature--type what you want and then scroll down a little bit and under the 'yes and no stuff' make sure yes has a dot in it where it says always attach my signature. Hope this answers your question.
