Hi everyone!
I just got RTWD! Yippee! It is great!
Now I need help on the editor!
All I need to know is how to get houses to look different on my RTWD levels. I only know how to make one of the houses, the one that faces in different directions. So how do I make the diffferent types?
Please reply anyone
And a screenshot or two woud be nice

Go look in the level editor instructions first off - my explanations aren't always good enough. Basically, you put down one of the houses (arrows) facing the way you'd like, and then put either 1,2,3 or 4 house icons anywhere to the left of that. Does that makes sense?? Probably not - editor instructions explain it very well, tho!!

That makes sense to me. I'll try it when I get the chance. Thanks!

WDC is a title ol'gramma gave me quite awhile ago - it stands for "Wonderland Devil Child" - although I think SHE is the Wonderland WILD Child - she acknowledged it
only ONCE. But SHE
knows she is!!!
Sawassum is a family joke that came from my little sister who died at a very young age - I explained it in a MUCH earlier post. NO ONE would ask me what it meant except ol’gramma (the only one with guts at the time - you notice things have changed since then!!) – you can find the answer in this post:

First off, try playing the deluxe levels and see what you can find out - it's FUN figuring all this stuff out. You don't want the answers just handed to you until you've tried to get all these messages yourself. That's half the fun. Don't ask for the answers until you have tried & tried & finally get to the point of:
"I CAN'T DO IT MYSELF!!! HELP!"
The deluxe version is FUN - a story line you can follow & lots of good levels (they ARE harder than the classic as you've probably seen from other people's posts)- don't get into level making until you've played it for awhile - you'll see why after awhile - you will learn LOTS of new tricks!!!
Okey-Dokey - that's my TWO CENTS!!! Just my opinion anyway!!

I just don't know what to look for at all!!
I'm sorry about your sister but I'm glad you have a little something to remember her by!

I've just read the story about your sister - very sad and heart warming at the same time - I must have missed it when I first came on to the forum.
I always thought that each letter stood for something, like SWALK.
BTW did your sister get the kiss she wanted? I hope so.

If you really get frustrated trying to find/GET TO all the new feature notes, go here:
http://campus.champlain.edu/faculty/perlee/wl/
It's a website jen made for us showing where all the secret feature notes are and what they are!

I glanced at it but didn't pay attention
Oh well I guess that's good.
Oh and btw yesterday (7/19/04) I found a SecretFeatureA clue!
I already had the sound and music on
Anyway, I have another question. In the editor, what are those little objects that are little colored squares?? I can't figure it out! They don't seem to have any significance...

The little coloured squares are lighting effects. Red gives a fiery glow, good for underground levels, blue makes it look like night time, green makes it look eerie, good for spooky levels, and yellow just makes things look a bit sick, like a thunderstorm is brewing.
Try experimenting and see what you think.
