382LIZM - Pirate Quest 26 Pineapple Island

Loof-Lad reaches Pineapple Island. A bit tricky I think, but there's lots of time.

All the downloads here will be used in other levels so please use them.

This level uses new models made for me by Popo - they are FAB.
Thanks Poops!

There is also a new set of houses made by me, which will be used lots of times.

The texture is the desertisland one used in PQ25 and will be used again.

EDIT I've made one slight revision to replace the cannon with a red dude in the lower corner so that you have to destroy it to get the coins on the water.

Looflad had a great time with this one, but it seems he's learned a trick or two from LoopstheLoop since he has enough left over to build a whole new boat. :piratelol: I've PMed you.

Loved seeing the pineapples back in action. And the cannibals were priceless!!!! Bravo popo!

Oooh, this is going to take me a while. :pirateeek: Got the first part sussed and thought the next bit looked fairly easy but I soon got meself into a mess and got stung by the pineapple. Hope I can figure it out before supper time or Loof Lad might end up on the menu. :pirateeek: You'd think there'd be a McDonalds nearby wouldn't you? :piratewink: :piratelol: :piratelol:

Terrific level Liz; you really had me running in circles (and away from the natives!) Pretty sure I didn't do this as intended, as I had some things leftover too, but I'm pretty sure I made it alot harder than intended too. Loofy really got his exercise! The models were great too, thanks much!

:D :D :D Hi Liz, I'm happy to say I finished the challenge of Pineapple Island, and I used everything at least once. Totally fun to work thru.
The signs are hilarious.
Popo the Cannibals are brilliant, I had a good laugh with this one.
Excellent work buds. Carry on! :D :D :D

Pleased to report that I finally figured out where to put everything and rescued Loof Lad from the cannibals.

All I had left was one box which I could have used if I'd found it earlier. :piraterazz:

Poopdeck Poops signing out.

I'm an expert at the first part, but getting no where with the rest of the level. I can kill the pineapple, but then can't get 2 coins and 1 bonus. Help Please.

LoofLad is so glad to be leaving pineapple island, the cannibals were pretty tame compared to that pineapple monster, he was vicious. The cannibals were scared stiff. Loof had a terrible time trying to figure out how to get rid of him. Came here looking for a hint when it dawned on me what to do.

The texture and models were terrific. The pineapples looked so real. I think I got a few extra gray hairs on this one. I just couldn't figure out how to do the reflectors, then I had the monster surrounded by them but he just wouldn't die, darn it!!! Finally figured it out only to get to the end leaving the travelator in the wrong spot to get the heck off of that island.

Finally LoofLad is once again on his way. Whew....thanks Liz.

Glad you had 'fun' folks! :piraterazz:

I've replaced the cannon with a red dude in the lower corner, so that you have to get rid of him. LooptheLoop Loirae and probably most of you didn't bother to get rid of the cannon as you didn't need to. My mistake again.

Anyway, don't bother to re-download if you don't want to, but this revised version is the one which will be in the final download pack.

Thanks Liz,

What an outstanding level, as they all have been! Popo the models are outstanding and so are the houses Liz. You two sure have your creative juices flowing these days!

I can't tell you how much I enjoy these levels. I just love opening level exchange and finding another little gem to play. Just makes my day!

Well, I'm off to download PQ 27! Thank you for all your hard work!

This has been by far the hardest of the PQ series for me
Glad I passed it, so I don't think I want to download the revised version
I better wait for PQ 28 :P

LOL I'm with you Lutz! This was beautiful and genius! Lizzie thanks so much for the mail. As soon as I read what to do with the green spheres and cube DUH my own  went on and I tried the rest on my own. After a few tries I got it all! I was so excited I had to go back and read the rest of the email.

 I didn't do it quite yer way but used all the stuff in all the places you wanted. Just in a bit of a different order.

Loved this one too! So glad I could find some time today for it

Thanks for the help, Liz! The picture really helped. I had the beginning down, it was the reflectors that I was having problems with. Once I got the order down and stopped making silly mistakes, I made it to the gold. Great fun! Thanks for that and the help! :D

Another great one with the texture and models! :D

Did the revised version too! Double the fun! :D :D

Took me more than a few but we finally made it.
Now I'm going to go squeeze some lemons.....
Thanks,
jg

PS: Bob, I see you've (gasp) kidnapped kiki and turned him into a pirate! (He does look rather nefarious!)

For Anne and anyone else who'd like a screenshot:

Here's the Walkthrough

1. Ride Up, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up to coin.
Then left and down for bonus. Up and right, walk through fake walls and round to push green sphere down to make boulder bridge.
2. Collect all coins in that area, using green timer behind pineapple, and push ice cube below trampoline. Back on transporter, ride Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Left to space below spheres.
3. Step on green timer and walk up, onto spheres and down over trampoline to push ice cube up onto spheres. Walk out through gate. Ride transporter right and left. Push ice cube up 1. Ride right, up, left to push ice left, down, left onto the yellow button.
4. Go through yellow TP, walk round and go back through TP from below.
Now see screenshot:
From Loof’s position shown, walk left to destroy boxes marked red X.
Trampoline over reflector and tramp it right. Push box into water, taking care not to get shot. Walk up and push reflector through TP and down beside pineapple. Push next reflector where the first one was.
5. Walk to top left hut. Push barrel 1 space left for now. Push lower boulder right across flames, and step down. DON’T REMOVE BONUS COIN. When safe push lower boulder down. It will land at bonus. Push it up and step down out of the way of newly generated boulder. Push boxes marked 1 & 2 into water 1 & 2.
Push barrel marked yellow X across box bridge onto transporter. Now remove bonus coin and push boulder right to build boulder bridge.
6. The two top boxes will now be gone, so collect the bonus by the top hut and push the reflector down and across the pebbles in line with pineapple. Stand above reflector to shoot boxes right of Loof in screenshot. Carefully move the reflector right, down and onto red button. Collect coins from red gate areas and push barrel marked red X through red TP to blow up shooting ghost. Use top reflector through yellow TP to cover cyan button.
7. Follow boulder across bridge and push barrel down and across conveyors to blow cannon or red dude (depending on which version you have). Push hidden box in wall left into water. Ride round and get coins. Exit.

Great models and design once again - you girliepants are so clever! 8)

I needed the walkthrough for the second room Lizzie - just didn't know what to do first and I am completely rubbish at sorting out red doodes  I would never have thought to push that barrel by the hut onto the travelator and through a coin

I worked out the first travelator puzzle all on my own though - that was an excellent puzzle!

Some great puzzles in here and it looked spectacular - BRAVO and many thanks! :D
