Hi, I am a new member, and I love this forum, everyone seems so helpful. I have already asked a couple of things and the response is great. I notice that each member has a rating under there names, I think mine is a bronze something or other. Can someone explain this please.

Hi Peggy and welcome to the forum. It's really a nice bunch of people here.
The description under your nickname is a kind of "ranking" which changes with the number of your posts.

Catch up with who?

Well I meant most of you have higher ratings then me, so I shall heve to do more posts to get a higher rating. like you for instance. Does this makes sense?

Hi Peggy,
Welcome to crazyland

. The rankings are just for fun, but they also help you to see who are really chatty

.

Thanks Mette,
I realise the ratings are just fun. I was delighted to be able to download your Zip file, though I had to ask for help and I was amazed how quickly that came through. I only have Return to Wonderland at present, but I am going to buy Wonderland Adventures, and possibly Wonderland Secrets.

Hi Peggy, welcome to the Forum of Very Normal People. I hope you'll have 'oodles of fun', as the French say.
Just one thing: don't you believe that nonsense about the Ratings now. It's really about the amount of Brilliant Levels members have made and the fun they've given us (check out Lillie & Kiki, for example).
So when are levels Brilliant? The rumour goes that Patrick (or Mr. Maidorn, as we affectionately call him) keeps two little monkeys in his apartment. If they can't figure out a level within 2 days, it's Brilliant!
So hop into the Editor and work your way up into the Ranks!
PS: My Rating is very low...

Hi, I am so new to this game I have difficulty doing the levels, or the more fun though. I love a challenge I hate games which are too easy. I have had a look at the Editor and I don't think I would be clever enough to do any levels, maybe in time. I will just go on trying to work at these levels for the moment.

Hi Peggy - nice to meet you and
WELCOME to the Forum!
If I were you, I would buy Return To Wonderland Delux Platinum Edition - you get never-ending custom levels to play and get to use trampolines and travelators and spheres and goobies!
Totally ace value for money!
Hope to hear from you again! Have fun playing!

Welcome Peggy Clarke to the forum of 'nutters', or is it the 'nutters forum'. Lillie's right about return to wonderland. Great game here, lots of great levels, neverending addiction. Do you know Petula Clarke?
She sang downtown. Showing my age again..............

Thanks everyone for the Welcome. I have purchased Return to Wonderland that is how I came to see the forum, and I love it, though having said earlier I am not very good at it yet, but practice makes perfect. I have every intention of getting Wonderland Adventures that is a must have for me. I have thought about getting the other two, but then do I need them?
Yes I know Petula Clarke, (not personally) and I loved all of her songs, shows my age too, I am not a teeny bopper.

Oh, I would love to see an editor within the Wonderland Adventures, that really would be great, I love playing that one, little bit more relaxed.
I like your version of the song very apt.

Well you are lucky then. Tell me was it a late Birthday present or an early one?
And I think you are telling a few fibs.

WRONG!

Peggy - you definately need the "Delux" version of RTW. This enables you to play and make ALL the custom levels. If you only buy RTW then you are missing out on a lot of stuff like generators. When you buy RTWD you get the regular RTW levels to play too! (I think?)
If I were you, I would write to Patrick at Midnight Synergy (email or pm) and I am sure he will sort it out for you

Lillie,
I have downloaded all the Custom levels and I have been looking at them, but I need easy one initially. I see that you have done loads, are yours pretty straightforward?

Peggy the easiest ones to play and start off with are the kids levels. And don't be afraid to ask for help, just about everyone here has always been very helpful. I've been able to go back and play some I have skipped over because I just couldn't get them. There are quite a few tutorial levels included with the kids levels. Mostly just have fun.

Thank you Monica,
I will try those. I think the reflectors will give me trouble, and each level I have to do so many times, only to move on like you say.

Eeeeerrrr no I don't think so! Not to start off with anyway
Liz Mayhew's kids levels are a fantastic way to learn what certain things do and how they work. Her levels are brilliantly put together and look great too. You can move on to her "stinker" levels another time when you are more familiar
In the Custom Level Pack called "Users" that you get with RTW there should be some levels made by old members called Caroline and Magic. I would suggest that these would be a good set of levels to start with, especially the ones not using the Platinum custom stuff.
Have fun!

Thank you Lillie I will have a look at those now. I am finding the tutorial levels quite demanding.
