Oh Anne :D :D I'm so glad you made a new Texture. It looks really great too. I want to use it. (someone else will probably beat me to it, cuz I just got back in town - fleeing the ice storm - and have to throw everything in fridge and freezer 'out', it's terrible and do about 10 loads of laundry in one day  ) But I like your Texture and I think it'll look fantastic in a level. Can't wait! :D :P :P :D

Nope Em didn't come anywhere near us. I'm in Upper Michigan...just over the Wisconsin border.

We are safe here. I'm a tad worried about my brother though, he's in Arkansas and I haven't been able to get a hold of him

I saw some bad news for the East coast too...more storms coming I guess   :( :o

Scary stuff

Hey Anne, I unzipped this Texture and it wasn't in a folder like all the rest of them. Am I doing something wrong?

Robyn I bet your brother is ok, (sure wish you could reach him though) because if his power is out, he can't recharge his cell phone; that was the problem we were all having; couldn't talk to anyone or even call 911. He's probably doing like a lot of us did, 'each man for himself with the goal of survival' but I sure hope you hear soon. :)

I'll let ya know about my Bro...

I see the same thing with this texture Anne....all the correct files are there but they are zipped into your zip file. You need to make a folder called "plaid" and have all those files in there...then you zip the folder.

Make sense? Here I did it for ya....try this one.

Thanks, Robyn. And thanks so much for doing a screenshot. I've included it above for everyone.

Robyn will have to answer that one Anne; I have no clue. But I'm working on a new level, using this texture and I'm SO excited. Probably won't be done until tomorrow......maybe! :? :D :D :D

LOL glad ya have such confidence in me.

I'm not familiar with that program Anne but it usually something really silly and easy that went wrong. I use plain old Windows XP compression to zip stuff up. All you do with that is right click on the folder you want to zip, you'll get a "send to" choice in the menu that pops open, then click "Compressed file" and walalalala you have a zipped folder.

Yes I have great confidence in you Robyn :D You are one smart cookie.

Question for anyone about this texture: The plaid circles shown in the screenie, with the round plaid thingys.............what are they? Floor tiles? Because in my new level, I can't find them anywhere? I'd like to use them, but I can wait till next time.

Hey Emmy,

The plaid circles are floor "D" in the editor. Please double check this with the experts who make the levels, though.

Yep those are "D" then the middle ones are "B" and then the right ones are "C"....I suppose I should make better screenie's showing what's what hehehe I just loved this texture so much I had to get something to Anne to show it off  :D

Robyn your screenie was fine. :D And thanks for doing those....they really give people a great idea of what they can do with the Texture. When I made the level and went in to 'play' it, that 'D' floor tile came up as the 'snow' floor!!!! :?

Anne, your second download thingy is doing the same thing the first one did, it's not in one folder.

All set, Emmy. I have done the zipping Robyn's way and it works well - folder is included. Thanks for hanging in there.

Anne, (I'm giggling) the 'D' floor tile is still coming up as the 'wintersnow' floor! If you know how to use the editor; try it and let me know if I'm just a crazy person, or there is a glitch somewhere!?!

ps. my new level is ready when you are.....it looks so nice, except for the 'D' tile.

btw - you are a real Trooper girlie! :D :D You remind me of ME when I was learning how to post levels, textures with them, etc. I think everyone on the board was helping me, at times.  :D :D It's the only way to learn.

LOLOL actually........I already knew about my "crazy" problem. :?  :D 8)

ok, I'll figure that out later and post my level now, cuz I can't wait!
