I am deleting my comments - thought I had explained it; obviously, I didn't do a very good job. Maybe deleting this portion will end it.

I think this was a decent first attempt. If you're only using Paint and a mouse it's very hard to draw things, I know, I've tried. The good ones that jg makes are done in Paint Shop Pro, and the ones I've made were done in a photo package with better manipulation than Paint.

Have you made any majic1?

Well now, with regards to custom models and custom houses, they are really artwork. You are free to express your opinions on any particular artwork, but I think it's rather unnecessary to give negative comments on the artist's age and maturity based on your dislike of the artwork.

And somewhat ironically, in raising the question "how old are you really???", I have to raise my own question, "Would you have reacted the same way if it were littlejg who posted those custom houses?"

I think it's about time you came clean Anthony!

In defence of majic1 I have to say, we know his age and this was just an encouragement for him to tell the forum.

Knowing Loof is just a child may give a better understanding to some of his posts.

I myself have been guilty in the past of criticising him, like a lot of others
who didn't realise just how young he was.

You are a nice wee boy Anthony, don't be upset by all of this.
Some of the levels you have made, are great for your age.
In fact, I would say VERY CLEVER!

I will leave the next post to you.

How do you know how old he is? I'm sure in one of his posts a few days ago that he said he had just got back from work. If that's the case he can't be that young. Unless he's a child model or an actor or something.

Popo, I'm glad you saw that post too! When I looked for it again, there was no sign, not even an edit!

I think Anthony's father or another adult is also posting.

I wouldn't make a statement about his age unless I was certain.
Just accept my word for it, the source of this info was from Anthony himself.

From an art perspective, it is good, no matter the age. Whether anybody appreciates the art is going to be relative to what they are looking for or personal taste.

It reminds me of my first drawing attempt using Paint when I got my first puter about 7 years ago. What a rush to be able to utilize both side of my brain doing computer art. My results were far from what I could have done on paper but it was sheer beauty to me.

Use it in one of your levels, Loof101.

For heaven's sakes! I certainly didn't mean to start a major conflict here or hurt anyone's feelings. I DID think this was a joke since loof101 has made many levels and appears to be clever enough to make nice looking houses - even in Paint. I believe he's bright enough to submit some very nice creations. Guess that's why I was disappointed. Then again, maybe I spoke to soon --maybe these houses will look very good in a level - I hope he includes these in one of his next levels. Sometimes custom houses don't look good until they're incorporated into a theme in a level, and just maybe that's what loof101 had in mind.

Yes, I have and I had to use Paint at the time so I know it's certainly not easy. My advanced bowling level has one - not that good, but I did do it in Paint so I'm aware of the drawbacks to that program.

It's because there's So many of you that are adults, so it made me forget I was a kid!

PLEASE COOL DOWN, PEOPLE!.

Everybody makes mistakes. We all speek to fast sometimes or occasionnaly make jokes that aren't funny. I bet a million that it happens to everyone of us one in a while.

I'm not much of a talker but I've read a lot of you guys posts for the last few months and it seems to me that Majic1 is a pretty smooth person.

So please, can't we leave war to the /$%holes that run our countries and just keep enjoying this Wonder Land of ours.

I attempted once to create a model of a house in Paint, and it looked worse than what my step-daughter did when she was three with a crayon between her toes  , so I think that anyone who has the guts to even attempt something like that in Paint, should get kudos for trying.

I've followed many of Majic's postings since I joined in March, and she's not a person to judge unfairly. I just think that her "tongue in cheek" sarcasm didn't come off the way it was supposed to at that time. She's pretty calm about things, and isn't the sort to speak out of turn, or make unnecessary digs at someone. If she really wants to "have it out" with someone, she does so thu' pms, not in public.

We've all said things in posts from time to time that got someone's back up, and I think that if a person has apologized, or explained their error, then it should be fogiven and forgotten. Isn't that what family's all about? :D
