New level (Advanced) - Indiana Stinky 4

Hello everyone! It's me again, and Indiana Stinky is ready for his second last adventure in the series! In this epic-sized level, Stinky must not only break into the golden temple of Airyman, but evade the guards that lurk inside! This level may well be the most difficult in the series, and will show no mercy to those who attempt it!

It also includes a slightly edited Piazza texture I made just for the level, 'Dark Piazza'. You must download it, as it has never been used before. Enjoy the level, and remember to comment, because I put an awful lot of effort into this level.

Nice change to the Piazza texture Valco

I looked in the editor and he has the texture as 'darkpiazza'. When I unzipped mine and placed it into the texture folder I just made a new folder with that name and put the files in it.

Thanks for the heads-up on the texture thing Lutz! Piazza is one of my favourite textures, I would hate to over-write it. Although to be honest I don't see much difference between this version and popos.
Anyway, this level was fun but a little frustrating. I don't find it that easy to sidestep UFOs so I got killed a few times which meant I had to do the whole beginning again.
Got it eventually, thanks!

I apologize for the Piazza mixup everyone! I had forgot to rename the filename, and I guess I hadn't corrently WinZipped the folder. The texture will be re-uploaded immediately!

UPDATE:
The glitch has been fixed! If Lutz could edit his post, I would be very thankful, as it would prevent a lot of grief. The slightly revamped texture now comes with a folder, and you can now access this level easily! Also, congratulations to Bob, for finishing this puzzle.

This was great fun Valco.

First I thought this level was too big

and it should be too boring,

pushing the boxes and barrels again and again

everytime I'd be shot by an UFO.
But that wasn't true at all!

I even found a different way to do the first part with the green sphere

. And thanks to the conveyors in the centre of the squares, the UFO part was fun as well
Thanks!

I'm still working on this one Valco (as I am with Indiana 3 - which I actually think is harder than this one).
So far I've got the rainbow coin, but I keep getting shot trying to get the bonus coins.
Very intricate puzzles in this level, and I've really enjoyed working it out so far. One day I might get the gold!
The texture looks good too.

If you want a hint:
The UFO on the right sure gets in the way, doesn't he? Direct him outside the temple by moving the steel boxes, then you don't have to worry about him! (He won't be coming back any time soon)

Why not simply kill both UFO around the conveyors with a steel box?
I think that's easier.

How do you always manage to find these unintended loopholes in my levels?

That's what I did with the UFOs as well.

About the green spheres it was quite obvious what your intended way is (I think) but I don't know what else was supposed to do with the UFO's. Beside that, I'm pretty sure that most people don't like to be shot by UFO's again and again. Just in case you are interested in the opinion of your players.
But don't worry; it's not only in
your levels that I find loopholes. I think even the best levelmakers make levels with loopholes, and I think you're a great levelmaker.
It's just that I'm a bit different then the most people so I do things different as well.

I guess it's no problem as long as you enjoy the level! It's not like we're recording scores or anything.

Of course, I agree!
But it seemed to me you don't like if I'm telling that I found a different way to play. And I like the things to be clear.

If I should make a level and there appears to be a different way to play it then I intended, I would like to know.

Marinus, you're always finding different ways with my levels!
Thanks to the hints from you, I've finally finished this one!
Excellent fun thanks Valco! Very challenging and very satisfying to complete.
Looking forward to more

Can't you take a joke? I meant nothing by what I said, and I'm sure no one took me seriously. If you find that post offensive, I'll happily edit it out.

Thanks for editing it out. Yep I can take a joke. One thing I don't take or tolerate is rudeness or meaness.
Thanks for fixing that. I too fixed mine

Couldn't see how to do those barrels but with a bit of help from Liz I finally got it. The UFO's weren't as hard as I thought they would be, I hit one with the metal box and tried to hit the other but it diverted it out of there and left me to do what I needed to with the metal boxes. Found the throne and made a hasty exit out of there.
On your next level I wish you would reconsider the time you give us to complete a level, some of us are not as fast fingered as others and if there's not enough time the level has to be rushed and there's no time to look around and see what's coming up or what's ahead or behind us.
This was fun and clever Valco...thanks

That was fun! I also needed help in the first room, took a few tries to figure out the red button but I was so happy when I got it!! Got home with the bonus coins too! whoot!!

It was very hard to beat the clock, but Stinky made it in the end with gold. Thanks!
