Right, what I've done up to now...

Got the top scritter on the button so I can activate the bridges. Figured out how to get both bridges up at the same time. Gone top left to press that button. Got coins by chomper and led him to his death (not sure if I should have done that).

What I haven't managed to do yet...

Get to the bit with the other scritter and the gems and buttons. Can't seem to get my bridges in the right combination to get there. Any clues please?

Try positioning the bridges when they are both closed

I've tried that Erwin, I can't get them in the right position to cross to that part, I'm always one step short.

I've done that Inger, I used that bridge to lure the chomper to his death. It didn't look like I could reach the part in question from that bridge. Maybe I'm going about it completely wrong?

You're doing fine, Pauline!

you have to turn the bridges like this:
the right horizontally, the left diagonally
So you can step from the bottom (that's where you start) on the left
and get further on the right one.
Then going to the right side with the single diagonal path and so on the right side
but you'll need to figure it out first with the 2 buttons behind the open wall
and then go to the bottom where you only need to turn the bridges one time

I have just this minute figured it out. I hadn't realised the two twister buttons turned the bridges in opposite directions. Got the scritter onto the yellow button but unfortunately he stood on a red button (I was in such a hurry to get off the hot floor) so I lost my bridges and couldn't get off. Now I know what I'm doing I should be able to put it all together in the right order.

Or maybe I remembered wrong. I think it might be the chomp who hit that button. It should raise a onestep bridge between the flipbridges, so uou can reach the southeast area. Or maybe I'm just full of it I do remember struggeling with it for a long time, sorry if it doesn't help you

how do i get the scritter on the yellow button without loosing my bridges, i can`t work it out, any help would be great,

This had me stumped for ages too You need to do it step by step, diagonal!!!! Don't go more than one step at the time, and plan your and his move ahead.

Also don't make the mistake of letting him near the button above him, chase him down to the bottom before you open the gates. I spent an age trying to get him to go the top way, but he always stepped on that button, and my plimsols melted.

I'm probably doing something stupid here - but I can't seem to get at the chomper, and the coins. Probably because I've been playing all day and can't see straight any more. I have the star but those two gold coins have eluded me.

Can you tell me what I should be able to see please?

I too am having trouble getting the coins by the chomper. I don't see any tips on doing that. Please help??

You need to get both bridges up at the same time. You can do that by spinning the bridges round until they're both down (they go down if they hit something), then turn them to the right direction and press the button for them to come up. I had the bridges in a V configuration.

Well, I'll try that, but I should have made my plea clearer. I can get the bridges configured so that I can get to the chomper/coins area, but can't get the coins and get away without burning up first.

I finally saw the safe spot behind one of the coins to use to cool off my feet. Now it's on to try and get the yellow gate opened.

Ok, I have both scritters where they need to be. I need to do the chomper part. Should I have done this first? I can't seem to get back over there.

If you haven't been up to the top-left to activate that bridge and used it, then you can still do the chomper bit now. You need the bridge to get you from the middle-top to the chomper.

I found it impossible to do the chomp bit after the bottom right scritter

Maybe I didn't see something obvious
