I'm a bit stuck.

I can't get through the gate and don't know where to go next.

There is an ice glyph behind the gate. I have spoken to yellow guy in kaboom town and I think I have to go east thru acid lake but I can't

Any hints would be appreciated, and I hope I did the spoiler bit right!

I'm a little unclear on which gate you mean. There is a blue/indigo gate at the entrance to the temple. You can't play anything inside until you've opened it.

But you mentioned the ice glyph which sounds like you are inside the temple. Probably standing at the end of a long hall with a door/gate. And there was a message that popped up telling you who might have a key for it?

So, I'll assume you're inside the temple. You've passed the area where Floing Training takes place which means you've already used the red time glyph. You got that one from The big furry guy? He also gave you a friend glyph - it's green. Have you tried it?

You do have to play adventures East of Kaboom Village, but you can't get there by walking at this point in the game. Use a glyph. Find someone. You'll know when you'e got the right key.

A bit cryptic, but I think I know what you mean!

I've tried using the glyphs I got from furry guy but no luck. I've wandered around all the way back to the beach and back talking to everyone I come across but only 2 people mention who might be able to help me and talking to them doesn't seem to change anything. I'll carry on wandering and see what happens.

What I really should do is get a good night's sleep ready to cook Christmas Lunch tomorrow (or today)!

you need a key
that's somewhere in one of the areas of a glyph, not the red one
when you finished 2 levels (rescuing wee stinkers) you get that key)

I have solved all the adventures in Kaboom village but don't have a key for the blue gate at the temple ruins where the Professor is.
I used a blue key to get to that area but now am stumped.
Please anyone what am I missing.

If I remember right you have to do something for the professor before he'll let you into the temple. It's in another area to the north of the temple, he leads you there after you talk to him.

Mind you I am going senile so I could be completely wrong.

OI keeks,
The key that you need to show the professor that then lets you into the temple is:

Southern Kaboom Village, Left Side.
If there is no bridge for you to walk on, then talk to the boomer-Merchant, KaChing. Ask where another boomer is, I can't remember his name. KaChing takes you screen left to a bridge. You walk down it and to a star where you help an adult boomer rescue a bunch of baby boomers. (I think it's the first level that babies are introduced.) After you help him rescue the babies, he'll give you the blue key. So, if you've played that level, either the key is sitting there by the shore and you missed it, or you have to talk to him again and then he'll give it to you.

Thanks Loops and Poops, I don't know how I missed that part of the Profs message, but I did.
Got it now, saved the little boomers and got my blue key and the temple is now open for more adventure and frustration...er I mean fun.

HELP! I've talked to KaChing a dozen times but he hasn't ever taken me to a bridge so I can do that last star and get the blue key to enter the temple. I've done all--at least all the ones I can find--the other levels in the north and south kaboom villages. I've gotten Guggenheim to floing me back and redo all the levels that weren't perfect. What am I missing??

Go talk to the Professor and he will tell you to talk to Ka Ching then go talk to Ka Ching.

Ok, I've talked to the prof but he says nothing about talking to Ka ching so I can't get the other blue key to get into the temple. What am I missing???

Here are the steps. See where you fit in:

1. Talk to Chief BigBang (yellow dude, center of Kaboom Village). Go through the single answers until you have multiple responses available. Choose:
"What do you know about the Ice Trolls?"
"Where can I find professor Blastazar?"

2. Find Professor. (red dude, Area North of Kaboom Village, outside of temple). Go through the single answers until you have multiple responses available. Choose:
"What do you know about these ruins?"
"Tee me more about the Ice Trolls."

3. Find KaChing. (Purple dude in area South of Village, outside of a hut). Go through the single answers until you have multiple responses available. Choose:
"Tell me about Shortfuse."

4. Follow Kaching to the reef. Follow bridge down and left and up to the star. Play the adventure there. You'll meet Shortfuse inside the adventure. After completing it, he'll be outside. Talk to him to get the key.

Wow, I think I'm losing my mind. I talked to him but didn't get these answers and Ka Ching only wanted to trade. Not sure what changed but thank you Loirae
