The Fuse - MOFI

I know you don't need to hit the fuse the first time
there's a keg on the right, if you blow this up you can learn how to proceed in the tranporter area and in the kegs on ice area
but you can't make to the stinker in time cos you're one shot too short
when you know the 2 sequences by heart and at light speed (a bit slower might also do the trick)
But then at light speed I just need to be over with the stinker.
And I'm not at light speed yet!
So I figure the 2 first parts out, but not the last one.
How can I point at light speed?

A Quick Hint
How many shots did you use? Where did you first shoot from?
Will give you another hint later if you still need one.

Where were you standing when you shot the fuse? It makes a difference.

Ah, thought that might have been where you were going wrong, but obviously not, you can reach the wee stinker in nine after setting off the fuse, I used seven shots on or by the ice, maybe a rethink is required

I got this all planned out, transporters, barrels, everything in the shortest, quickest route, but I cannot for the life of me do it the time needed before the fuse runs out.
I'm not enjoying the game anymore since it got really hard to do things in the time.

Came for inspiration, but I'm not sure whether to be relieved, or tearing my hair out even faster, that everyone else is having the same problem with this level!!

I step on or off in 10 times in the transporter area.

I'm doing the transporter bit in 7 rides, and the ice bit in 8 slides. I don't think there's a quicker way, but if you know different please tell.

I've done some screenshots, can't post em here yet can I, and I can't pm em either.

I don't believe it, I managed to PM you the piccies.
If I'm doing it in less moves than you how come I still can't do it in time?
A hint for anyone else.
You don't need the transporter in the bottom left corner at all.

I've just timed with a stop watch how long I have to get round the transporters, blow up barrels, go over the ice, charge my brr, brr a path, go over, get stinker, brr a path back, send stinker over, brr another path, go back myself. I have
44 seconds to do all that in. Am I missing the point somewhere? Am I doing something that just isn't necessary? I am totally flumoxed.
Have just had a thought. Can you brr a barrel before it explodes so that it doesn't explode?
Don't know why I'm asking because I can't get anywhere near the brr charger before the lot goes up.

Aha!
I've just realised how to stop him going up in smoke without all that to-ing and fro-ing, but I still have to get to the flaming brr charger in time to do it and I can't.

Nice one Salin. I'd worked out the 7 moves on the transporters (flash of inspiration on my journey to dreamland last night - how sad is that?!) but would have been tearing my hair out without your little hint!

I must be an old man. I know the way through the teleporters with 7 rids and the shortes way through the ice but i'm still in the middle of the ice area when the wee explodes.
This is really one of the hardest level in the game. I hope i can finsih it by next christmas latest with hard training and jogging.
By the way:
have you manged the level with mouse only or did you use mouse+keybord.

Even my son Chris, who is a wizard on the PS3, PSP, DS, Game Cube, etc. can't do it in time. I'm beginning to think it isn't me it's my computer. I think it's running faster on mine than on anyone else's.
Could someone do me a favour and time how long the fuse takes, from the first barrel to the last, on your computer. It takes 44 seconds on mine.

I used both mopuse and keyboard. Mouse to walk/ice/shoot, and keypad on transporter.

On my computer it is also around 44 seconds
