For the game to work,
Do you have all the three textures, backgroundtex _____1, backgroundtex _____2 and leveltex ______ ?
The blanks must be filled with the same names. Check the readme file in your directory.
Note: The backgroundtex s are the textures you would use for the background. "1" is for the walltop, "2" for the wallside.

Also, don't include the extension - If you want it to load the beaches texture, don't type in "beaches.bmp", just type "beaches".

it may just be a problem with the fact that the leveltex is different from the backgroundtex by a "es".
That's what happened to me and I had to change it.

... I still don't get why the backgroundtex is different from the leveltex and yet that is not the main problem. It sounds like everyone's editor thing is okay with that except mine because I actually had to make all of them "beach" to make the texture actually show up.

Do you have all the three (in their respective picture file format), "backgroundtex volcano1", "backgroundtex volcano2" and "leveltex volcano"?

I really don't think you need al three files to be named the same if you want to open it in the editor. Notice how in the editor all that the background is is black.

Yes, but you will still have to be able to open them in the real game, if you want to play the adventure, isn't it?

Ok I will...

Yes.
So why is the beach leveltex name different from the backgroundtex name when I first download the MOFI textures? It just doesn't make sense!

Course it does. The one who renamed the textures named the leveltex "beach" and the backgroundtexes "beaches."
Though now you have me confused...

I had that same problem too when I started to use WA editor,
You see sony,
what he mean is that you should leave a space in the middle of Backgroundtex (name of texture1 or 2) and same with Leveltex...
Edit 1:Or maybe he meant that if you left spaces like Backgroundtex(spacex2)name of the texture1 or 2,It would be wrong.
Rename the picture to this:
backgroundtex volcano
Get it?

Thanks!
I found out there were 2 spaces in most in the names.
They should all work now!

Sorry for double posting but I found somthing out.
It's not a problem but the jungle texture uses 2 spaces and won't let me change it. The texture still works in the editor anyway. I wonder why...
