Latest news from Mette's Wonderland Site:

The update done on April 20th 2009 will be the last update of this site. The downloads will remain online for a while (at least a couple of months) but there will be no further updates made. The future of the 'Links' section is still undecided.

Does this mean that eventually this site will no longer exist?

Hmm, someone should make backup copies ASAP of what's on there right now, so at least we won't lose all the custom content that she has collected over the years......

I need a complete break from anything Wonderland - and that includes maintaining the site. I don't think I'll be leaving for good, but I don't know when I'll be back.

I'll leave anything on the site as it is for at least a couple of months and then I'll decide what to do about it all. When I decide I'll let eveyone know what's going to happen.

I hope you will all join me in publicly thanking Mette for all of her hard work over the years in creating and maintaining her wonderful site. It has become a real institution here in Wonderland, and while I can perfectly understand the need to take a break, her generous contribution to the community will be missed. You did a wonderful job, and I know that many many many Wonderlanders truly appreciated having your site as part of the community.

So, here's to Mette! Hurrah! And Thank You!

(On a related note, I would certainly be more than willing to give the content of Mette's site a home at www.midnightsynergy.com - so that none of it is lost. Perhaps someone else might even be interested in continuing updating the zipped level archives. I will be tied up with other things until mid-May, but can look into options after that time.)

MS maybe there's a way not only to give the current content a home but to keep a like area going. The organization of Mette's site is useful and very valuable to the game and users. Why not take a note from Mette's organizational skill and continue that on?

Just a thought.

There are tons of fine people in this forum, furthermore Anne is now posting levels and that is a big change for the better.
the more level designers the better.
Lets not start any feuding folks, go play some levels and relax.

Well, this is sad. I liked the site, even though I rarely used it, simply because I don't want ALL the levels that have been ever created, cause they will totally kill my time.

I personally will sorely miss this site! I was always going into it around the 18th every month, anticipating my download (to dial-up) and going through all the levels that had been created.

Thanks for all the time and effort you spent on creating this site, Mette. It was an amazing creation and much appreciated by me.
