Made a lot of mistakes but step by step I got my gold star

I also played the first "Dark Matter", and that was pretty hard. I read the comments on the original post http://pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8238
Some said it's hard to figure it out and then it's easy, but I wouldn't say it's easy after all, so maybe I did it different.

Is the plasmacube supposed to go on the yellow button? If not, where then?

Dark Matter (the first) is a good one. It took me a while to figure out how to cover everything but then it looks so simple.

Most of this came together for me fairly easily but not the yellow spheres that took some doing.
