ocean view harbour - secret worlds

I am having trouble with taking Peegue through the lighthouse to open the blue and green gates. I get as far as when text pops up saying to step on buttons to open the gates. I move him all over, but the gates don't open. The boxes are on the pink and yellow buttons and Stinky is not standing on the blue or green buttons - he is part way down the gates.
Any help would be appreciated.
