New Adventure - Mr. Zurkon's Retarded Holiday
Posted: Sat Dec 25, 2010 4:28 pm
by MyNameIsKooky
Mr. Zurkon recently ordered a game of POTZ for Christmas, but to his surprise, he was too stupid to find and enter the serial key correctly, so he calls you up. You come over and conveniently enter the wrong serial key, so you and him get devoured by the vortex between realism and the computer game world into a place of mindless mayhem. Can you escape, or be trapped forever?
Requires my music pack at Version 2 or higher.
Also requires the black chomper texture, make a Custom folder in the same folder as the player and place it there.
TIP: Make sure you always keep a backup save in the mission select area in case you mess up in one of the other areas.
This is my biggest level yet with 18 .wlvs and 25 .dias. It will take at least a half hour to complete! It was 1.2 MB before it got zipped.
Merry Christmas!

You need to upload the blackchomper texture for the upper right red gate area. Otherwise, good so far.

Sorry about that, but thanks for reminding me.

Help with purple buttons. Either I'm missing something or it's pure trial and error.

Purple buttons?? Sorry, which area are you referring to exactly?

Oh, sorry. The red arrows on purple backgrounds in the edible void area.

OOOOH.
One of the buttons will change the purple gate to be openable.

From the sound of it, Nobody's computer is fixed?

I'm stuck with 9 coins facing the sprained leg and fragile button missions. Bother.

For the sprained leg, you just have to blink around then go back and recharge (although im sure you already knew this).
For the fragile button one, there's another yellow DiamondOnce button if you spring through the waterfall.
EDIT: If you want me to give picture walkthroughs, then OK.

Solved. Now I'm to the HARD doorflower boss.

You'll need to save a lot.
For the first part with the Blink charger, just dodge the attacks and you'll eventually get warped to the next phase.
For the second part, shoot Pow at it for a few seconds after every time you circle around to the front.

I need help with the area to the right of the one with with the yellow gate area. (The one with the black gates.) How do you keep the red gate open long enough to get the coin and get back out?

You have to use Pop on it from the FireFlower room. Once you fire your Pop magic, run to the coin without hesitating for anything. You'll have to time it well to get past the Spikeyball without stopping.

Wow! Great adventure, Kooky!

It took me awhile to complete it, the doorflower boss had fried me like 100 times before I actually got out of there.

I'm stuck at the part after you get sucked into the video game, at the very begining.

You need to divert the turtles to get a turtle in the water to stand on below the spring.

Bump.
I too am stuck at the very beginning, and I can't understand HOW to get the turtles there without taking out the bridges. I'm needing a video solutoion again.

Use the wood buttons to re-raise the bridges.
Posted: Sat Apr 23, 2011 3:18 am
by LittleZbot
But to get the turtles there, it seems there would have to be
three wood buttons.

by MyNameIsKooky
There are three. If memory serves, the last one is at the far left as a DiamondOnce button. The last turtle should press it.

I'm really confused.

Here...
Just keep sending the turtles to the left. You'll have to press a wooden button each time they go across.
The wood buttons you'll need to press are circled in red.
The wood button the last Dragon Turtle will press is circled in indigo.
