A few tips:

1. Don't include Music that is already supposed to be there, like the Wondertown and Pastoral Music.

2. Your Music overlaps with ab-47's. Try to avoid overlapping with any music.

3. WA3 will probably include some new music, and yours will overlap with it.

4. Try to not include more that Ten Tracks on your first version, and take your time for new versions. It takes a LONG time to download more than forty tracks at once.

It may seem I'm complaining, but I'm just trying to give you some tips.

2. Your Music overlaps with ab-47's. Try to avoid overlapping with any music. I wasn't sure what was open, and I knew there weren't many music packs in this range. I may update that in a later music pack.

3. WA3 will probably include some new music, and yours will overlap with it....new version...

4. Try to not include more that Ten Tracks on your first version, and take your time for new versions. It takes a LONG time to download more than forty tracks at once. Well, if you don't count the original tracks, its 38 *shot*

My comments in bold.

what i understood is either he's using one of my music and adding it to his own.
or

the numbers of tracks that are from 25-34 are taken.

If it's the first one, I won't be that happy!

I've never heard your music pack, so if it is the first one, that is purely accidental. I'm just too lazy to change the numbers right now.

I meant the second one, ab-47.

MWM, still 38 is a LOT. You are seriously going to have trouble finding new types of music later on if you don't downsize, like I did.
And replacing the Music folder won't do if you have another music pack in there, like most do. It would erase all the other Music packs. I just download new music packs and copy them into my Music folder.
And since a lot of people like ab-47's music, they'll probably choose to use those rather than these without even listening to these, like me. *shot*

Later? Just keep it as is, people aren't going to want to keep updating over and over again every month or so.

Anyways, I've noticed an explosion of music packs recently. When I was making a few adventures, I wanted to use some custom music that I liked in them, so I thought, "I'll need to post a music pack if I want anyone to hear the music in-game." So I posted it. However, people started to get "jealous" and started to make their own music packs. I had to post my music pack, but now other people have been posting their own music packs seemingly for the hell of it.

Why?

A.) I am using it in my next Thwart Wars level.
B.) Anything MyNameIsKooky does will become popular. Look at Evil Toaster, music packs, Mr. Zurkon, etc.

This in itself is an interesting question: Why?

Why are MyNameIsKooky's thingies so popular in comparison to the creations of other members of this community? Is it because he has the most posts? Or...?

No idea. ...note to self, copy MyNameIsKooky for popularity. *shot*

No offense but you overlapped my music pack did you? Or maybe it's because there wasn't much free space between music numbers 1-255?

Actually, I didn't know yours existed until mine was over forty. I would change my numbers but, as you said, there isn't much free space. Plus I have a bunch of that music already implented in my next adventure, and it would be a pain to reset everything.

Oh, sorry. Most people don't even use their music packs.

If anything, my popularity has actually diminished ever since my first game, Boxinator. Look at how many more members played my games at the time, but don't even glance at my games today (although they still visit the forum on a regular basis). Aside from that, I guess that it's just that I've been here for three years and the community has gotten to know me well (and vice versa).

so you want us to download 68 megabytes music pack, which had overlapped our musics, just for a level, i would rather make it less than 40 megabytes. :(
but still, i agree.

I might make an abridged version to get you through the level, but you might have to keep downloading as new adventures are completed.

Just because I can. He doesn't currently have a profile (I think) because I temporarily changed my profile to his.

Yes, since they can be found in several other places. I'll re-upload them if you want.

That was the 5th time I've gotten my avatar stolen. You people think you're so clever.

@Master Wonder Mage: Could you post a link to some other place to find them?

@MyNameIsKooky: I am clever. No one will know that I stole your signature unless they read this topic.
