I was fresh out of red ones, so I hope a blue will do.

This level was formerly titled "To Skin a Cat"

Thanks to Janet Galle for her "Caution" texture.
Have Fun! :D

I tried very hard, but found only one way to do it. Well, so far - I'll keep trying.

Hi Mark
Another one who downloaded and tried it. But I've found no one way to do it so far.
And there are multiple ways? Phew, I would be happy to know just one of them....

Sorry Amnon and Chip for the confusion. I only know one way to solve it myself. I named it after the adage "There's more than one way to skin a cat" because there's a point where you seem to be at a dead end. I'm just saying that if one way is impossible, there's always another way "to skin a cat". The goal of every Wonderland level is: "Do whatever it takes to get the coins and exit. It may require you to break some rules and look beyond your circumstances, but the goal is always the same. And have some fun in the process. So if you made it to the exit, you solved it the intended way. :)

Hi Mark
I tried this one again and again. But I really can't get it.
You gave us some hints, and they were helpfull. So I've learned, that I can roll up the things from A to Z as well as from Z to A. And I came very far with both approaches. But the piece of resistance was always the light blue gate and the coin beneath it. Do you have another little nudge about this? And is the time high to give it away?
I really wonder, when and how I have to "break some rules". Usually I like to do so.
Greetings, Chip.

Here's a big hint (don't highlight unless you want to be spoiled!): Consider that light blue button as if it never existed!

Hi Chip,

I changed the title of the level to provide a clue on what to do.
Also swapped the colors of the blue and cyan buttons & gates.

Dear Mark, dear Amnon

Mr and Mrs Chip proudly announce the birth of a new chipy:
It's a boy with the look of a gold star. He has a weight of 3584 grey hairs and a height of 147 restarts.
What a forceps delivery, but thanks to your patient and competent assistance everything went fine.
We'll call him 'Cutie'... :D

Thanks again, Mark, for this great puzzle. I had hours of fun to work it out.
(And it's always the same: You're so close, and then you get too greedy...)

Hi Mark, I'm off to a good start on this 'blue herring', we shall see
if I can complete it. Will be back. { One of the best designs I've seen so far. }

PLease tell me how to get rid of the z bots without dying. I think I have to get them out without using any of my equipment so I can cover the dark blue button. I think I need to save the pink cube.

Thanks

You need to get them out indeed, but you need a piece of the equipment to do so.

You CAN get rid of the z bots without any equipment if you've got the perfect timing. However, that's not expected.

I have tried that, but I couldn't.

I have tried that, but I couldn't.
I would get it about 1 in 20 times.

Okay Marinus which piece of equipment did you use. If I know that maybe I can figure it out.

That was a very good level. Got it once I figured out I did not need to go the way I was going. Great misdirection.

Thanks

Here's the complete walk-through courtesy of Marinus. :D
1. After the generator stops, step D, get bonuscoins, lean to the aqua gate and go quickly through it while chomper activates button.
2. Push steelbox U. Blue sphere (in barrel) U. Barrel U over icecurves and D over tramp. Roll boulder LUR and step up on floating barrel to avoid z-bots.
3. Get coin in aqua gate. Push goob to above the coin on water. Use travelator to push goob U, then push it L and all the way U, to stick together with the other one.
4. Jump UUL (just below exit). Get bonuscoins on both black TP's, then push prism L through TP. Other prism all the way D in water. First prism again through black TP and also in water.
5. Jump RU (barrel goes on white button). Go left through blue TP, and push cannon back through blue TP, all the way U, L through black TP, and all the way D to destroy barrel and itself.
6. Jump 7 x R to get coin bottom-right, then go back L. Get last coin. Jump 6 x R and U and exit.

Hi Mark,
I read your highlighted directions, but so far I'm confused
as to how I'm supposed to destroy the Z-bots.

You are already there - push the ball to the right and run for cover.

Z-bots got me.

yup, I tried that, I rolled the boulder into one of the z-bots, and
then the other z-bot came back and got me.

THanks for the walkthrough update.

Hey Mark; last week I decided to play this and throw my video solution into my upload schedule

I thought it was deceptively straightforward...

I was double deceived.

Very nice level. Many thanks for the fun. :)
