Did 105 stars in WA!!!

Recently I finally decided to play the last remaining levels ("Stinkers on Ice", "Melting Pot" and "Wakka Wakka 2") and solved them all. Plus I got the 4 coins on "Firing Squad" (made it way too complicated for myself, instead of putting the scritter on that button I got a turtle there and put it in water

), got everything on "Chomper Pinball" (I previously ignored the puzzle and Brr-ed my way to the star) and got the gems on "The Pyramid" (I didn't find them before, what a nerve-breaking level) so now I have all 105 stars and have finished ALL the adventures with all coins and all gems.
Have not played with the vault yet... I'm more interested in using Floing to replay adventures for time, with all coins and gems, of course. I know that Save/Load does not keep track of your score/time, but I play without Save/Load. So each adventure has to be completed in one go, which can be frustrating on the longer ones with lots of danger, like "The Pump House".
It's mostly preliminary times, so far, there are only a few ones that are really hammered down to perfection. Still... any challengers for 0:32 on "Passage of Fire"? Or 0:35 on "Freshwater Reservoir"? (EDIT: Just got 0:32 on "Freshwater Reservoir" as well!) Those are really tricky!
It was great. Awesome game is awesome.

Cool. I completed WA about a year ago, the last star I earned was wakka wakka 2. I uninstalled WA off my pc, so I can't try the challenges yet. But I'll tell you if I ever get a chance!

I had those three levels (wakka 2, stinkers on ice, melting pot) left and then I quit playing for a long time. Now, when I was replaying, I got wakka 2 easily, which was strange since I remember it being very hard.

I just realized I was actually wrong here. I was playing levels for speed (writing down my times) when I suddenly noticed that I haven't actually got the coins on "Out of Sight".
NOW I have. And now I can truly say that my Loof has done everything an adventurer needs to do... aside from speedrunning levels, that is.

Congratulations!
Now beat WA2 without saves.

I surely hope you mean "without in-adventure" saves, because going without saves for the whole game would take days. And even if you do mean "no in-adventure saves" there's no way I'm going to do that on my first playthrough. I want the levels to be available by Floing.

Of course, no in-adventure saves. But I was joking since WA2's levels are mostly too large for that anyways.

Maybe eventually. Though not on the first playthrough.
I mean... WA2 hasn't really patched the whole "Save/Load doesn't track time and score" issue... or has it?
WA1 "Double Lock" in 0:22!
EDIT: Scratch that, "Double Lock" in 0:16!!!

Please remove the "Thing" you get at the end of WA from your post.
MS says to not reveal anything about it.

By saying "vault" I have not actually revealed anything. It's just part of the name, which could literally mean anything. It's not like you can find out what it is from my post. You still need to get the 105 stars.

The vault is full of treasures, for I am sure!

Not true. One time when I was younger, I actually activated it for a friend at the beginning of the game.

Yep, I did overlook that info in the final paragraph. Thanks!

Wowzers. I figured out how to skip all the gates in "The Purple Shard" and made a preliminary run that finished the level in 1:03. Probably improvable, since I wasn't taking as much risks as I could. This level will probably go under a minute eventually.
EDIT: Wow, I lost SO much time by trying to build the Brr-bridge all at once. Got it done in 0:44 and any further improvements will only be from technique and fast magic use. As far as I can figure out, this new route is perfect. It definitely should be faster than doing the whole level, even if there's some walking around.
EDIT 2: 0:39 on "The Purple Shard"!! Improvements came from just being faster overall and one great blink at the end. 0:38 or even 0:37 might be possible but anything below that is pushing it. Anyway, I got it sub-40 and that's enough for me right now.

Although I've matched that time 3 times, I don't think it can be beaten.

DP I got 22 seconds on the purple shard though. No codes were used.
EDIT: And 35 seconds with gold on Thwart the Thwarts

I haven't really tried thwart the thwarts, but the purple shard... HOW?!?
Are you
sure you haven't used the save/load trick by accident? If you save in the middle of an adventure, then exit the adventure (either by finishing or by aborting) and then you reload the game, the timer will start from zero again, allowing you to get smaller times.
If you have started from the beginning and REALLY got 0:22, that's... that's insane.

I *think* there's only one way to bypass the gates and there's no way to go that darn fast in my route, so... wow.
EDIT: I edited out the spoiler so that others can think for themselves.

I did not save. I'll post my solution when I'm anti-lazy enough.

No need to, I just figured out what must be your solution -- impressive indeed!
In fact, I'm now beating you by being faster and throwing in an extra blink at the end. 0:18!!!!!!!
Never in my wildest dreams would I ever think that "The Purple Shard" could ever go this low (sub-20) without codes or save/load, but there you go... I love it when huge, hard levels turn out to be entirely breakable.
It might be even possible to go slightly faster, like 0:17 or something... but anything below
that is going to be crazy hard to get.

Actually only used brr.

OK, then PM me how did you do that, I'm curious!!
There's just NO WAY I can figure out how to do it without blinking, also my solution is fairly dangerous, I'm quite sure yours will be a bit easier... I want to see which solution is the fastest, I could just be faster due to technique while actually using a worse solution.
Have to say that speed runs set strange statistics sometimes. I'm still shocked that "The Purple Shard" is a faster level now than "Passage of Fire" or "Freshwater Reservoir".

My solutions is very easy if you know a certain "trick". It requires a video to explain though, so I won't tell you for a while. However, yours is probably faster. I only stopped moving for about a second.

So you CAN
change directions after you hit a dead-end on brr-pads. Got that on "Frozen Doors" and then tried to do it here, successfully. I was darn fast on that brr-only solution and still got 23 seconds, so I think my solution is indeed a bit faster, though it's much more dangerous, too.
Anyway, I was asking you because I could not get below 0:18 at all. That errant fireball HAS to be waited out, unfortunately. So I think that (at least for me) 0:18 is as good as it gets. Oh well, I managed to match this several times and at least I got sub-20, which is all that matters now.
I will send you my solution in case you're interested.

I just got 0:16, which could probably be improved by more speed.

That should be using blink as well, right?
EDIT: Just got it in 0:15 and... it uses ONLY blink! 15 is not very easy, I often get 16, but the solution itself is AMAZINGLY simple and safe, to the point of wondering "how did MS overlook that". Nice change after those brr-blink tricks I was trying to do.
Thanks for the competition, BTW, I'd probably be stuck on the 0:39 solution if not for you.
EDIT 2: OK, so I just made a run that I consider pretty much perfect (very fast blinking, extra-extra blink at the end) and STILL got 0:15, meaning that perhaps a robot could get 0:14 but that's the end of that, no way to go lower.

After this duscussion, I wonder how fast we can solve "at the end of it all"?
