Hi all,
I just finished creating a website where the following can be downloaded:
* All the Custom Deluxe Levels made up to Jan. 18th 2005 (thanks to donutlady)
* All the Custom Models made up to Jan. 20th 2005
* All the Custom Houses made up to Jan. 20th 2005
I'm planning to make monthly updates (approximately) and to add the Custom Classic levels (soon I hope

).
I hope you have fun playing, and if you have any ideas for improvements I'll be happy to hear from you
The address is:

Best,

Hi Mette,
Your website looks great. I have all the custom classic levels and will be sending them to you later today. Since you have the deluxe levels on
your website should I delete my post with them in it? Seems silly to have
them available in both places. Let me know what you think.

Is this web page only available to members of this forum? Or will it be accessible by searching? I'm just a bit concerned that some of the models I've uploaded were not for putting on other websites for widespread download, only for personal use.

I haven't made the site available for searching, and I don't plan to. If any of you object to your Custom Levels/Models/Houses being on my website, I'll remove it as soon as you tell me to. I hadn't considered that this could be an issue, and I appoligize if I've accidently offendended anyone.

Thank you donutlady Frankie

It's up to you if you want to delete the level packs from the forum or not. I don't feel strongly about it either way
The Classic levels are now also available on my website.

Thanks Mette,
The models I'm talking about were ones I got of the net, and the stipulation was that they weren't offered for widespread download on other sites, just used for personal projects. If only Wonderlanders will be able to get to them it's fine, no differnet from getting them from here.

The website has now been updated. This is what's new:
* all levels from Jan. 19th to Feb. 18th 2005
* all houses from Jan. 21st to Feb. 18th 2005
* all models from Jan. 21st to Feb. 18th 2005
* An option to download the houses and models as individual files
* A few new links
Again let me say, that critisism is most welcome and if anyone don't want their levels/houses/models on the page, just let me know and I'll remove it asap. Just keep in mind that the website isn't available for searching, so the chances that anyone besides forumites will ever find it is very slim.

Mette,
I know I have said it before but thank you so much for doing this. There have been quite a few of the old levels that have been resurfacing and it is really nice to replay them...
It is also bringing up some levels by people we have not heard from for a very long time...I wish they would return because several of them are so talented at level making.
Thanks again...Lori

Mette you are a star. I've wanted to get these levels for ages but haven't had the time to download them all seperately. Thank you. Now I can continue to neglect the housework for many more hours.

Hi Mette,
Since purchasing this new computer, I suddenly realised that I didn't have all the old levels. There's loads of them that I'll always go back to.
It was very handy to just download them from your website.
Thank you very much for taking the time to do this, it's greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
My website is ready with new updates. The most important one is that the page has been moved. The new adress is:
EDIT: see below
I apologize for any inconvinience.
Another change is that the levels are no longer divided into classic and deluxe levels. So the site now features:
* a level pack containing all levels from the forum up to the time of the update (2427) - sorted by creator
* a level pack just containing the new levels from last update till now - sorted by creator
* all models from the forum up to the time of the update (162)
* all houses from the forum up to the time of the update (53)
Both the models and the houses can be downloaded as (rather big) zip files containing many models/houses or as individual zip files.
Happy Wonderlanding

Hi all,
Guess what? New updates are ready
Latest count of various items shows:
Houses: 70
Models: 203
Levels: 2636
After considering the point made elsewhere by Patrick, I've decided to put the adress in a .jpg file, so only registered users will be able to see it.
I hope you enjoy

Thank you so much, Mette, for doing this. I have gotten so far behind, that the thought of downloading all the levels I missed was overwhelming. You are a lifesaver!

Hi Mette - how are you? Been enjoying your books no doubt? About time we had a level or two from you or Mr Mette
You are an absolute star to do this website work -
WELL DONE!
Could I please ask you a question about it all. If I was to download your level pack - what would happen to all my other levels. I am sure that I have most custom levels downloaded already - but not in everyone's folder like you have done. My filing system is in a right mess! I have still got lots of past levels to complete too. Should I delete all my levels then download your new pack? Or would it overwrite all my already installed levels? Sorry to sound so dense
Thanks Mette x

SharonM and Lillie,
Thanks for your kind words

I'm happy to know someone is in fact using my web site. My brother (who's hosting the site) has promised me some statistics that's more reliable than the counter I'm using now.
Lillie,
If you're affraid my level pack will overwrite your old levels, I'd suggest you create a new folder in your CustomLevels folder and unzip my level pack to the new folder. That way none of your old levels will be overwritten. The down side to this approach is, that you won't be able to see which ones you've allready completed (when the files are in a different folder RTWD don't recognize them).
If you unzip the level pack to the folder you normally use, Windows will warn you about overwriting files. Just ignore the warnings and click continue/accept/ok (whatever option you get). If the new files are identiacal to your old files nothing will be lost (I'm 99% sure of that). RTWD will still have the scores for the levels you've allready completed. If the new files and the old files are different, but have the same name, the old files will be overwriten and the old scores will be lost.
I hope this explains it
And yes! I have been enjoying my books very much, and now I'm allmost done reading The Dark Tower series (by Stephen King). I'm allmost affraid of finishing because I'm affraid I don't like the ending.

Silly me

Hi OB,
Bearsland wrote:You obviously either never saw it or you didn't like the colours.
I saw it, forgot you did it, made one of my own, posted it, remembered you allready did it and thought: 'I like my colors better, anyway.'
No offence meant and none taken, I presume (and at least hope)

Somehow I just knew you would say that.
I was going to do it in Denmark (forever!

) colours, but I love blue, so I made it blue.

never take offence at anything you said, Mette. You're one of the nicest, friendliest people here in Wonderland.

Well...thank you

and right back at you
Mette
P.S. For the record: Danish colors are red and white. I just found the red and yellow more festive
Btw... I also love blue. Especially the color of the sky on a hot summer day

Only when I'm not wearing my own.
That only happens at weekends when the wife visits her Mother. That's when I like to dress up in her stuff and call my self
Suzie.

btw. Patrick,
please don't make this a sticky.
