Original Character Designs For The Classic Trilogy

I thought this would be fun so why not?

Let's see if we can come up with original characters (OCs) for Wonderland.
This could really give Patrick some ideas for a new character if he decides to return to the classic trilogy style (RTRTW?)!

I've sat down with Paint.NET and our old pal Stinky and gave him some new colors. :stinkyhappy:

Introducing Arno:

A Stinker with a darker colored body like Qookie. He has an orange cap with a cyan top and a green stripe, orange shoes, and brownish eyes. I really like how he turned out!

I've also found a little trick with Audacity that makes your voice sound somewhat like a Stinker, so maybe later I'll give him a voice when I have time.

Also, I think I know what trick on Audacity you're talking about. :wink:

I use the "Change Speed" and "Change Tempo" functions. Sometimes "Change Pitch" too if it needs it. :wink:

The topic is about making your own character for Wonderland using the model styles that are used in Wonderland, Wonderland Secret Worlds, and Return To Wonderland. I just decided to retexture Stinky. Making voices are optional, but I decided to have a little fun and make my own. :D

Oh, if that is the case:

Introducing Otzo, I took Stinky's picture and put it on GMK Sprite editor.

I gave him a Cyan hat, cyan eyes and cyn shoes.

I also made the top of his hat green. That makes Otzo the 2nd custom rtw character!!

This is FUN :D

It would be really cool if we could have custom player models and full control of Secret Feature B (I'm not going to spoil it here). If someone knows what the player model files are for RTW please let me know! :D


EDIT: Just took a look myself and I'm not entirely sure where the model files are, but the textures for the player models are in res2.dat and there's no possible way to edit them unfortunately. Also, I just realized that we can't edit the models because it might cause animation issues.. :(

I made an Arno model by editing the Official Stinky model! :D

No, he's not playable (yet!), this is just the model.
Note: I had to make some adjustments to Arno's hat colors since the hat color mapping on the Stinker models are repetitive in some places.

EDIT: I added the back view. :)

I have completely edited Stinky's expression textures to make him look like Arno. Now if only I could replace images and sounds in res2.dat...

Yes but Feature B doesn't allow you to replace all the sounds.

Unfortunately I can't, I don't have Peegue's model. The models in the Classic Trilogy are encoded into the res.dat files, and until there's a way to open everything in them (along with replacing items in them) I won't be able to do anything with character models (except Stinky of course).

That's bad, did you mention something about an unpacker for res files in Spongebob Krabby quest topic?? :)
Dragon Unpacker is able to rip resources in files such as sounds and images, however it's not able to find advanced files like models. It also only unpacks files, not packs them (so I'm unable to replace files using it).
