Discussion about tutorials

The tutorial no. 1 is here: http://www.pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic ... 948#318948

If you found a thing which you'd like me to add to this tutorial (most probably a common mistake which I had forgotten to write about), post here. Also, discussing here is fully allowed, no limits - you can say what's wrong with the tutorial, what would you like to see in the next one or even make fun of it

If you find a common mistake which I forgot to mention about or if you have a trouble with certain thing, post here. Keep in mind that tutorials about water, forests and buildings will come as separate ones.

This is my first tutorial, so please say me what you think - I'll be able to make next tuts better.

EDIT: Your suggestions so far:
- More  Pawelec's Tips - sure, I'll try to give you more of these.
- I'd use less advanced terms - decided to make separate post about them
- puzzle design tutorial - if you have any levels you'd like me to decorate for you, please PM me, so I'll have an example to use in this tutorial. I'll start writing this as soon as someone sends me an adventure.
- puzzle making tutorial - well, I'm not an expert with puzzles, I make veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery hard ones or no puzzles, so better don't ask me about this. Also, my puzzles are made using Method 2

Thanks to Blast!10 for PM, so the tutorial topic was left clear.

I don't want to be audacious, but could you stick the tutorial topic, Patrick?

And more comments please! I won't make the next tutorial until I get enough comments from you. Was the tutorial too simple, too hard or difficult to read?

I loved this tutorial, and it has some very good tips and tricks, but that's the main problem. When I first started making adventures, I would've never understood terms like "Gameplay elements/gameplay objects" or "Water Xtrude/height". It's very good, but maybe you could explain some of the terms you use? I know my sister would constantly ask "What does that mean?".

Other than that, it was great! You covered everything, you explained all the common mistakes, and Pawelec's tips and tricks were very handy! Here are some ideas for future tutorials (after you finish your scenery ones):

1: How about a "Puzzle design" tutorial, helping you make your puzzle areas look natural?
2: I would also love a tutorial about making puzzles themselves, but this would be tricky to write.

Thanks for the review. There's a glossary of WA designer's terms coming.
I have a dozen of next tutorials planned, some of them will be a suprise.

I'll make a tutorial about Custom Textures after the glossary. You may expect I'll give you some of my creations.

The glossary will be an open tutorial - once someone PM me a term they don't understand, I'll add it to the glossary.

Sorry for DP - the Glossary is now open! :D

If you want me to add something, PM me or leave a post here.
I'll start a Custom Texturing tutorial tommorow.

Tutorial no. 2 about Custom Textures is ready to read here.

The Pawelec's Custom Texture Base is now open to you. I started slowly, with 2 ducks and some chompers, but you can expect more and More and MORE textures .

Also, I need more comments. Please, don't leave me without your opinion.

This tutorial is very well done, and has lots of good information. I think it will be helpful, especially for people new to the WA Editor.

I have my own forum now: Pawelec's Corner. You are welcome to visit. The tutorials are posted there before they are published on PC Puzzle.

Great tutorial! I love the MOFI-less jungle.

BTW, if you zip an adventure folder, you can upload it straight to this forum (you used Mediafire, which takes longer than downloading something straight from the forum).

Wow, Pawelec! That latest tutorial is pretty awesome! Those new textures you provided are very good as well. What I liked the most was the MOFI Jungle. I've really wanted to make a Jungle area but I thought that using the MOFI Player was too much trouble for that.

Thanks! :)

This sound like a useful...
