Yeah, I knew that intro level was a teaser. I've played Chip's levels before and this was no exception. It took a long time to figure out who goes where and when and then actually putting the plan in motion took numerous restarts.
But I have my gold star and the S.S.Nutshell and crew are ready for the next adventure.
And I mean this as a total compliment Chip when I say that your levels remind me somewhat of the levels Bordeaux used to create. Difficult but compelling and immensely satisfying to solve (when I can).

Still working on this one.
I managed to get the dark blue timer operating constantly, but then when I tried to start the cyan timer my helper got diverted!
Back later ...
EDIT:
Well I've spent another very enjoyable hour trying to solve this. I think I can see what has to be done everywhere except that cyan timer. Can you please tell me what should operate that? I have to go out now, won't be back until much later.

Chip - thanks for the help.
Just one simple move solved my problem
I enjoyed meeting the rest of the crew.
All systems are go and the SS Nutshell is getting ready for launch.
This is a great level.
Looking forward to the next.

Guess this will be an island to Loof's taste...

Hmm... that is peculiar.
Because from what I've heard, "Cockayne Syndrome" is a rare disorder.
Also, it has a fairly similar spelling to, well, a drug.
But the level itself is really, really fun. I still can't do it, I try to do something and then something blocks me or the bottie was supposed to go somewhere else. NO hints please, I love solving Chip levels by myself.

The hints:
How to cover the cyan timer?
1. Push the lower left goober 1xD. This is important to keep the needed botty away from this pool.
2. Push the upper right goober U and the lower one D to clear the line for Bot, our right turning expert.
3. Get on the pink button and watch Bot's flight: Almost... just a little course correction...
4. Wait for a good moment to push the top goober 1xR.
How to cover the blue timer?
1. Go to the spheres. Push Green Leader R and quickly stay aside. The sphere stops at the flower. Let it wait there.
2. Push the box all the way on the tile left of the lower left water basin. The box, the basin and the blue timer should be in a line (from left to right).
3. Push the remaining goober here 1xD in front of Ka DeBoum.
4. Now you have to be quick:
a) Wait for a good moment to push the goober L into the water to release Ka.
b) Go around the box and the basin and wait beneath the box.
c) When Ka reaches the blue timer: Push the box 5xU between the breaktile and the left white TP.
How to cover the white timer?
1. Push the ice block L to stop the conveyors.
2. Get the coin on the breaktile.
3. If the prism didn't stop in front of Eddy: Push it L against the wall. (Attention: Eddy is fast!)
4. Eddy's shots will destroy the initial box and the following boxes on the white timer.
5. To destroy the other three boxes: Just push Green Leader U and the device runs smoothly.
How to install the headlights?
1. Get on the yellow button.
2. Switch to Loof and move him U to collect the coin in the yellow gate and back(!) D again.
3. Switch back to Stinky. Collect the remaining coins in this area and make your way onto the red button.
4. Switch to Qookie and get the last coin in the red gate. Let Qookie wait here (inside the gate!).
5. This will open the exit gates for Peegue. Bring Peegue onto the yellow button.
6. Switch to Loof. Push the lower cannon U over the tramps and jump U and L to exit. Repeat with Qookie.

I've been stuck on this level for a long time.
I will now play this level again, (and hopefully) beat it with the walkthrough.
