I can't find anything in this room "Barren"

Oh, but it's a whole planet, isn't it?

Unless you're on the dark side of Barren, at which case I am presuming it is only a room.

The academy's the place with the classes of magic, and the voidy place where you learn indigo magic...

I am pretty sure we're talking about the same game.

How do you get to the library from the Barren room?

From the Barren room, there should be a rainbow portal to which you entered it from; Go through that. Then, you go through Startown, until you see the place with all of the crystal spikes and no music.

After that, you go up and to the right; Unless you have never been there, to which you then go to the left, afterwards going through the forest and finally onto a boat to the academy.

I hope this helps a little.

I think I know where you are. There is an area with a black arched doorway, it is was a level that was played, but now it is just a tunnel leading to the rest of the barren. There is an area to the left then it leads onto another area of the Barren. Hope this helps.
