The Knights Of The Folding Table 21

A sane genius is great.
A mad genius is not so great.
But the worst case is a mad genius hiding behind a sane one.

Have fun!

What a joy this was to play!!! 8) 8) 8)
Ingenious from beginning to end! :D
From deciphering the opening code to the exit dilemma.

Thank you Chip! :)

Oh my goodness, Chip, this level was so beautiful and ingenious!

Really, to me, it was a real work of art.

Though I have not figured out how to get the bonus coins...

Though I have not figured out how to get the bonus coins..
Getting them is easy: All you need is two characters, one blocking the other way: the difficulty is exiting that area, for which you need a box in the water.

There is still yet another way to exit.
I'm curious which one Chip intended.
Also had a couple unused break-tiles.

Have you found an alternate way to exit, Mark?

Yes, it was intended that you don't need to use all break-tiles.

My way of exiting from the TP's is similar to Chip's #17.
I also found two different ways to exit at the very end.

Hi Jutomi
The bonus puzzle allows two different approaches:
1. You can solve it either with a box or with a boulder, it depends on your strategy.
2. But in any case you have to sacrifice one of your items, so choose wisely...
Good luck! :)

As for the very end, the details on how to enter the last room can vary, but essentially I only found one way to exit. What's important is that 3 come from the left and one from the right: did you manage the get them 2 by 2, Mark?

Yes, well done Mark, you found an alternate way which I didn't see!

Honestly, that, I kind of presumed, but...

I honestly don't know how to do the level without all of the items.

P.S. for the last area, did you, off chance,
Jutomi wrote:break the boulders?
Because, if so, then I did it right.
If not...
well, then I did some thing.

Despite Mark's new way, it is still not possible to complete this level without all the items, so I would advise against breaking any of them.

I had no trouble collecting the bonus coins and exiting the characters, two from the left and two from the right.

However, the opening spheres section still has me boondoggled so I have to go back and see if I can work that out. I've been having a lot of 'duh' moments lately so wish me luck. :)

edit: Phew, managed to work out the opening room. This was a fun challenge Chip, thank-you.

The opening room was probably the easiest part for me, honestly.

The exit was strange, but I exited with three on the left and one on the right...

It's the reverse for me Bob.
I solved the sphere room with no problems. How happy was I?
:D :D

But the top section is majorly problematic for me.

Still working on it ...

Just to clarify, the intended way for the top room is 3 on the left, one on the right.

I replayed this and managed to exit in the desired manner but I like the two left, two right combo better. It's more symmetrical and somehow I think that suits Chip's levels better. :D

You voiced my exact thoughts, Bob.
I first solved it the intended way because of the 3-step break-tile.
Then I found it could be done symmetrically with two on each side.
A hallmark of every Chip adventure.

After a lot of tries I finally got them all out. The bonus coins was the hard part.

Thanks

Hi Bob, hi Mark
Amnon and I had the 3/1-method in mind when we tested the level. We didn't realize the alternate solution enabled by the redundant breaktiles.
But that's no problem: Both methods require creative thinking, and both should be rewarding.

You are correct Chip! :)

It is twice the fun. 8)
I was able to play it again for the alternate solution on the bonus coins (thanks to Amnon) and the exit puzzle.
I've also found a simpler way of deciphering the opening code.
In fact, I'm still playing it just for the fun.

I have a question, Amnon said that to exit the bonus area you need to put a box in the water. What water are you referring to? Because I put both boxes in the waterholes below the coins in the middle. I did use one to redirect a boulder first.

Then Bob, you didn't make use of another element that could help you with that bridge.

I solved the first puzzle step-by-step exactly like you did.
But I did not use either boulder on the islands by the exit.
It's interesting how each of us perceive things differently.
As they say: "A picture is worth a thousand words".

I must be one of those forlorn words ,_,

Thanks for the video solution Chip :D :D

I too did the first puzzle exactly the same.
After that I was floundering around in the dark, so I needed the help.

Wonderful fun thanks!
