Hello,

I have a new program. It is a decompiler for BlitzBasic/BlitzPlus/Blitz3D!

Have you ever wanted to make a 2 headed fire flower, rainbow magic, crimson magic, custom game logic, etc?

Then this is for you!

Make sure to check the code when the program is done. The first function should be titled activatebutton. If not let me know! I want to make sure that it works, so that I can continue working on features instead of worrying about bugs.

Note: The program won't actually give you compilable code in the current version but it will decompile it. You just need a bit of programming knowledge to fix the errors.

Installation
1. Once downloaded, extract the program.
2. Copy wg.exe from your editor folder into the same folder as the program.
3. Run the program.

What's Blitz?

I don't think we're even allowed to post any version of wg.exe on these forums. That sort of makes sharing your creations impossible. There's also the fact that the morality of decompiling all of MS' code is very questionable.

I can't unzip files on this computer (I'll be able to in a few hours), but your comment makes me think this is all an April Fool's joke.

Yes, I have. It's an incredible program; very easy to use and all, especially if you're familiar with programming! I made rainbow magic do some really ridiculous stuff that I can't even describe with words and also added a new command that changes the facial expression of the player character. I just wish I could share them.

I added a feature where it has weather according to the season, I can't really test it without changing my computer clock though.

It really is too bad we can't share these awesome things

The WA3E wg.exe is free. Obviously, we should get Patrick's permission before posting our versions, but I'm guessing he won't mind.

(Besides, we're not allowed to post the data beyond the forum.)

My post was meant to be a joke more than anything.

It's just that I don't see the point in revealing the the whole joke about the program to everybody. It ruins the fun and there's absolutely no reason to type in all caps like that.

Well, I just wanted to write I liked this April Fools (however, I cannot say it wasn't expectable judging by how powerful was the program described to be) - a clever one, seems cooldudepoke exactly knows what type of news can thrill the vast majority of users and be tempting enough for them to visit the thread

I managed to make something new too...a full recycling bin on my desktop.

It caused me to accidentally delete my wg.

I realised that caps was on and then I turned it off before I wrote space.

I think this should stop, Jdl. I think you're starting to come off a bit mean. Krishiv is free to type the way he wants as long as his words don't insult anyone. In this case, he was typing some perfectly polite posts.
