LEVEL PLAYERS/MAKERS WE NEED YOU!

Hi Everyone

You may have noticed that not many levels are being posted these days.

If you are a player who's never made a level, and want to give the Editor a try, please do.
It doesn't matter if it's an easy level - it's better to start off easy.
And some of us need easier levels anyway!
I'm happy to help out if anyone needs advice about the Editor - just send me a PM.

If you're an old hand at level making, how about making a few more?

YOUR FORUM NEEDS YOU!!!!

PLEASE HAVE A GO AND MAKE A LEVEL.

I'm making them, Liz!

All right, I admit, I've been slacking because of all of my other things, but I'm making those as well as IWABMOIII. :D

By the way...
this may end up being a rather...
peculiar
...series, so get ready.

You could say it was inspired by my second pseudo-hub in WA0.96.

Hi Liz
Like you I can see the problem.
I'm working as fast as possible and will launch the new series as soon as I'm convinced of the first few levels.

Quality over quantity, though. :D

I admit, my puzzles that I am currently "working" ... ... on don't have very good decoration quality, but...

fortunately, for this kind, I'm not sure that it'd be necessary.

Speaking of which, in the time between this and my previous post on this thread, I've made... like... 4 of these levels, I think...

I hope to be able to start posting soon, myself.

I feel bad leaving the burden solely on your shoulders while I'm on break.
This is a forum of diverse people from all around the world.
If we have the time to play, we have time to design.

How long does it take you to design a level?

I'm sorry my editor muse has taken vacation, hopefully it's temporary. It's also finally summerish here and after a very long winter sitting inside at the computer must take a backseat to getting outside.

I'm sure you understand Liz. :D

Hi Bob,

Usually one or two sittings.
But those sittings can take awhile.

It's taken me from ten minutes to two hours, honestly.

Though there has been the occasional level that's taken me approximately a year to finish.

I can believe that Jutomi, with some of the incredibly complex levels you make.

A level usually takes me a couple of hours to make over all, but it's never just in one sitting. And then there's the testing.

Bob - I quite understand how you'd want to sit in the sun after the ghastly winter you've had. We had an incredibly wet winter, and now it's June and guess what, it's incredibly wet!

It takes me about a full day to produce a level. I must recognise that others here are far more talented in this regard than myself.

Now don't say that! I've seen you solve every level of mine in short periods of time!

It's taking me ages to remember how to do all of my levels.

Here, we've had a long and cold winter with rare days spiking up to 70 and back down to a windy fog in the lower 50s...

All so, most of my time making levels is testing them...
...though, for WA, I take more time in the editor. :?

Most of my sittings are a full day. It's a great way to lose calories.

Sorry, were you referring to RTW levels in your original post?
I have already made quite a few WAE3 ones, and a WA2 one.

Well SFR, I was referring to RTW levels, as this is the RTW Forum.

You raised my hopes there ... oh well. :(

It's been quite some time since I last designed a RTW level, but I'll see if I can squeeze out any more ideas. :)

I've enjoyed playing your levels in the past yotyot5.

Thanks for giving it a go :D

I'm at 16 of what I believe to be are 20 levels of an unusual set, so don't you wait too long for one to come out.

Three days at most.

Looking forward to that Jutomi! :D
Not that I'll be able to solve any of them.

I'm sure that you'll be able to solve at the very least the first five.

If you can't do the first one, though, then I think I may have underestimated myself...

but, honestly, after watching your last video solution, I don't think you'll have a problem with even level 5.

Oh, all so, I might be a little late on account of the fact that I made a very broken level... oops.
