Lots of stuff to choose from here and I'm not sure if I used the right items in the right spots but it seemed to make sense and I left with the gold.

Needless to say the white tps proved challenging, until the light came on.

Those three bonus coins above the white TP were very sneaky.

I went back and tried different combinations and each one failed.
So it appears that there's only one "2 of 6" chance" for each one.

Chip's creations are very meticulous.

At least I checked and weeded out all other combinations, so I would be very surprised if there is any other way.

Nothing of the kind: so far the boy and the girl haven't even met yet!

Well, I've managed to make it to the third part, successfully, in one day!

I still haven't come up with a plan, though.

So, now, I am stumped.

In the third part you need...

1. ...two boxes to fill the upper lava pond.
2. ...two sticky cubes to block the lower TP upwards.

Then you can return to the exit or try to get the bonus coins.
